I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! I feel robbed. I had an AC issue and called them. It was a $15 part and took 15 minutes to install. The AC was fixed however they tried to sell me a new unit for $7500 and told me mine was no good. When I called Golden West to explain my dissatisfaction, I spoke with Sarah the manager. I explained after the tech left, I researched the part and checked pricing with other companies. It should have been the flat $89 service fee and $15 for the part. Sarah stated "Our business model is different" and refused to charge me a fair price for this work. Bottom line DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! The multiple 1 star reviews are accurate. They are horrifically expensive, and have no issue over charging even their existing and satisfied clients.

I called them today about leaks in my bathroom's sinks and they responded right away. Jose was knowledgable, professional and personable. He left to go look for the faucets that we wanted and he was back finishing the job by noon. I would DEFINITELY use them again. Furthermore, I have used the big plumbing companies and they charge twice as much. Couldn't be happier.

We experienced a stressful emergency with a water heater that had to be replaced. Working with your firm and specifically, Carl G., made the situation less so. He was thorough, prompt, hardworking and gracious. He explained everything that he was doing. Your company is first-class. Thank you.

All I can say is that these people are a joke. The owner is a joke, the girls in the office are jokes - They have no professionalism over the phone what so ever. One of the girls voices is just about the most annoying thing I have ever heard, I think her name was Clarrisa or something like that, and its quite obvious they are script readers. Cant even give you a small estimate over the phone!...Im sure if they are so professional they should know what is going on with certain things by the sound of what you say. Get better employees, ones that can provide great customer service...not make you want to hang up right away when you hear their voice!!!

One word, IMPRESSED! Great service, fair, clear & upfront pricing, immediate attention! When my 10-year old AC unit decided not to work, I contacted Golden West and they had a tech come out next day. Chris was very knowledgable, on time, but most important, HONEST-a trait hard to come by with contractors. Chris provided a thorough analysis of the problem and provided multiple options for my husband and I to discuss. To be sure my investment was well spent, I contacted another AC company for a second opinion. I and was not impressed by their staff or pricing, and worse yet, they were booking towards the end of summer. After doing my research I contacted Golden West to schedule the install of my new AC system. I was expecting them to tell me 20-30 days out like many other places, but they scheduled NEXT DAY! As promised, Techs Chris and Anthony arrived on time and very meticulously installed the system. Anthony was so polite, he even installed the new thermostat and programmed it for me. I enjoyed working with Golden West and feel a huge sense of relief to know that if I have any questions about my new unit or furnace, I'm in great hands. I'll certainly be recommending Golden West, Chris and Anthony to my friends, neighbors and family!

I had a problem with my ac unit, and contacted a repair man who quote $1300 for repairs. I contacted Golden West for a second opinion. Mark came out and repaired the system for under $300. He explained the problem thoroughly, as well as why first quote was incorrect. I highly recommend Mark!

We had used them before for our furnace, but this time we called them for out water heater flooding. First they told us it was a flat fee to even come out (um what?!) 1. we are considered clients already AND 2. Purchased a package last time that is now magically nonexistent. After determining our water heater hit the crapper- they quoted us $2,200. Yes you read that correctly. A water heater for 50 gal in Home Depot is $500, so they are saying labor is $1,500?! Needless to say we have a new water heater (top of the line) installed and old one hauled off for $1k.............. Don't trust them it's all about sales sales sales

They are low life! We went with them for a new furnace and ac unit over the summer. It took them 3 visits to get it right and I still question how right it is. The kicker is today I open a letter from them that states we didn't pay 600.00 and they are going to put a lien on the house. Whats funny is the copy of the invoice they mailed with it clearly shows we paid all money up front. After calling they agreed our mistake, I'm in awe on how a company can't read their own invoice. Poor workmanship in the field and now obviously poor office management makes me feel this company is not worth the time anymore.

Chris V. installed a new furnace for us. He was very good about explaining everthing to us. His work appears to be very good and he was considerate about keeping things neat and clean. I would gladly feel comfortable using his services again.l

I had a faucet fixed. I have a 10 year warranty from them on the fauset and have honored it and are always helpful and courtous. Will use them again in the future.

We have had experience with your company. It is compotent and courteou service. They replaced our furnace on a weekend and even gave us heaters to keep warm while they did the repairs. Today Cesar came to educate us to proper use of the thermostat and also replaced the filter for us. We appreciate this so much since we are senior citizens and did not know who to trust. NOW we have a very good company who cares about their customers. We will tell all our friends and family to use your company for any future problems they have. When we need to replace our airconditioner or water heater we will definitely use your company. Thank you for such capable and compassionate service people. They are great, fast & Knowledgeable!! I would recommend GW to all of my family & friends!! :)

First, their sales guy (they call them project supervisors, but they are truly sales) fixed a "dip" in the line at a cost of $3000 and then found that the line was actually completely broken farther down the line.

He then said that they really needed to replace the entire line because the City of Littleton would charge another $2200 if they found more problems when fixing the one broken spot. Their management calls this a "misunderstanding".

Now, two weeks later, the sprinkler line that they broke came apart washing a good portion of my front yard away. They were suppose to come fix it and haven't.

Take my advice and use someone else.
