The Cherry Cricket is a legendary establishment that has been serving up delicious burgers, craft beer, and unforgettable memories since 1945. Located on 2nd Ave in Cherry Creek, Denver, this modest brick and mortar building has stood the test of time, remaining a beloved neighborhood bar despite changes around it. Although the Cricket may have had a rough-around-the-edges vibe, it was always driven by the desire to satisfy customers' appetites with mouthwatering burgers and locally brewed craft beer. The sports bar became a gathering place where friends could enjoy good food, good drinks, and good company in a . Over the years, Cherry Creek has undergone changes, but the Cricket has remained steadfast in its commitment to providing an exceptional experience.

I never went for the food, just a beer or two, darts, and the off chance for a little flirting.

Great Burgers, fun atmosphere

In beautiful Cherry Creek this is a fun place to eat dinner. We were recommended it being new to the city as having great burgers and they did not disappoint. They have many ways you can customize your burger and good drink specials as well. Now we bring people who come to visit there too. We definitely enjoy it for date nights now and then.

Going Downhill

As a Denver native I have eaten at Cherry Cricket for many years-it is practically a Denver landmark. However the quality of food has diminished through the years. I was just there recently and ordered fries which were cold and the hamburger I had was totally bland. If you want drinks this is a great gathering place but if you're hungry then eat somewhere else.

Horrible experience.

I made my first trip the Cherry Cricket on 03/16/2010. Upon entering I was given a pager and told the wait was only 10 minutes. My party and I waited just outside the entrance. After 20 minutes I went in to ask the hostess if there was a problem. It seems she had paged me 3 times and put a question mark next to my name. She tested the pager and it was not working. One of the doormen said they were having problems with the paging system. I asked if it had occurred to them to look out the door and call my name. At that time the doorman began to berate me for being rude to the hostess. Then we were told that we would have to wait for a table to be free. I chose to not wait and we left. I wonder if they would have treated Adam, from man vs food, the same way if he was waiting outside. There customer service is not only lacking but they are very rude as well. Since this was my first visit, it will also be my last.

Great Burgers

The Cherry Cricket is a mainstay in the Denver market for great burgers. You can create your own unique burger from a variety of additional toppings. Located in Cherry Creek, the Cherry Cricket is a nice place to relax and grab a burger. Their expanded patio seating area helps relieve the old waiting times to get a table. Daily specials and other food offerings besides just traditional bar food make the Cherry Cricket a place for everybody. The Cherry Cricket has been consistently voted Best Burger and was featured in an episode of the Travel Channel’s Man vs. Food.
