We used to love going-everything was buried in cheese and a great green chili. Not so much now. I took some friends telling them this is going to be awesome. Things have changed for the worse. I was really embarrassed to recommend this down hill slide of a place. I have watched so many restaurants go out of business because they don't stick with the basics. Cleanliness, service and product.

Give it a shot

I currently work at the Blue Bonnet and you can get horrible to great service, honestly the only reason we're still open is the happy hour. Come weekdays 2-6 and you won't be sorry but stay away other than that the only thing I get on the menu is chicken tacos or a chicken burrito. We have real Mexican cooks and if it wasn't up to the owners what they made them we'd have some authentic Mexican food... It just goes to show Jewish people can't successfully run a authentic Mexican restaurant so give it a try on the weekdays it's worth the try and sit at the bar if you don't want to worry about bad service

Not the Same anymore

Blue Bonnet used to be good.. But not any more.. Food has become poor and expensive. Chips and Salsa also not good any more. I remember when the Chips and salsa were like candy and could eat a ton of them.. And the food was awesome and the taste was off the charts !! But now.. Well.. Disappointing at best.. I may stop in and sample the food in a year or 2 and see if things improve back to where they used to be a few years back.
