My daughter began taking dance lessons here a few years ago, initially, under the instruction of Hugh Nini. Though the academy, has changed ownership, Mr. Nini has left his young dancers in the highly capable hands of the Valievs. My daughter attended Denton Dance Conservatory a few years ago. Though, Lisa is quite welcoming, her girls do not appear to be as polished and professional as DBAs. These studios simply do not compare. They are in two different categories. Denton Dance Conservatory is more about props and theatrics. Though, I have an appreciation for this, that is not what I wanted for our daughter. Students at DBA have more opportunities that span all over the globe. I love DBA and would not trade it for the world!!!

My daughters have taken classes and participated in the Nutcracker over the past 10 years. The instruction and opportunities they received from working with Mr. Nini are comparable to anything they can get in Dallas. He really puts the kids best interests first. I couldn't recommmend the Academy more highly.
