I hired Chad to lighten a video that I had already captured. He charged $300. and took my computer hard drive to lighten the video??? He had the drive for 10 days with no results and when I said I just needed it back he tried to get more money out of me. I told him I had made another security video and did not need that one and would not pay him above the $300 since we had no verbal or written agreement. He informed another individual of the second video and broke the trust that I would have thought was inherent between client and investigator. After another week of trying I retrieved my hard drive only to find that the heads were damaged or used for data recovery of another hard drive. Personally this was the worst experience. He could have caused real damage with his lack of professionalism.
