Prairie View Animal Hospital has taken excellent care of three of my dogs spanning almost 20 years. The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable, kind, and caring especially with my older dogs. I now have another "crazy" lab puppy and they are very helpful as it has been 14 years since I had a puppy. I had been to other vets in the area and I am very happy I chose Prairie View!

Praire view animal hospital is an excellent facility. I was refered by someone they were friendly and professional . The veternarian i have seen seems to like animals and customer friendly. i believe we are content with prairie view animal hosp. They seem to be very helpful and considerate.

Staff is always friendly. They explain everything in detail. I have never trusted my dog with anyone else.

I recently moved to DeKalb and had to find a new vet for my fur babies. At the recommendation of coworkers, I chose PVAH and I did not regret it! The doctors and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. During the visit, I couldn’t go in with my dog due to Covid, but I could tell by my conversation with the doctor during the exam that he was treating my Tucker like one of his own!

I have been going to Prairie View long back when they were on Lincoln Hwy in DeKalb, It was a tiny place with two resident office cats. I will not go anywhere else. They are the best in the area. Dr Emmert and Dr Diemer are the most caring and compassionate from when you get your new baby to all the way to the end. The office staff and vet tech staff are always patient and kind too. It is so helpful now that the have a “Pet Patient” my chart so you can keep track of things and communicate with the doctors if any questions. Please check them out, your baby will thank you for it.

They take great care of our dog. He is the family baby and
they treat him so well I think he actually likes going there.

The best veterinary clinic in DeKalb County. The staff and Veterinarians are courteous and knowledgeable. Dr Diemer has been treating our cats for nearly five years and always treats our cats with care. He always takes the time to explain procedures and treatments and is understanding of our feelings and questions.

We have been bringing our dogs to Prairie View Animal Hospital for 18 years. The staff is VERY helpful and the docs are great. Wouldn't go anywhere else. The people here really care about animals and treat each one with kindness.

Since I have moved to the Dekalb area, I have been floating between several different veterinary facilities for almost two years. I have finally settled on Prairie View because my quadrupeds are very important to me. I rely on Prairie View for all their healthcare, and boarding. I was beginning to doubt that I might find such complete and conscientious care again, but Prairie View does it for me.

We have been taking our cats and dogs to Prairie View for almost 20 years, and have always had excellent care. Dr. Diemer and Dr. Emmert both combine professionalism with compassion, and the staff is great. I highly recommend this clinic.

Without hesitation, I would recommend Prairie View Animal Hospital to anyone that wants only the best care for their pet. The doctors and staff are professional, knowledgable and caring. They also take time to answer any questions you have. We have never been disappointed in the seven years our dog has been coming here.

I can't say enough about this clinic. Front staff and techs are wonderful... Dr. Emmert is patient, explains everything in detail and never makes you feel rushed. In the face of a slobbery super exuberant black lab, he is calm and accepting of the attention :) I've been
coming here for about 7 years and am very satisfied to have them as a partner in the care of my dogs! Good job Prairie View!

Prairie View has always been wonderful with our pup. We've brought him here since his first round of shots 3 years ago. They are always very professional, kind, gentle, and knowledgeable.

I was really satisfied with the timely service and
professional care that was given to both our cat
Smokie and our dog Joey. As a loving pet owner,
we felt that we needed to receive veterinary care
for our pet's issues ASAP. We had called other Clinics
in the area and they were not able to meet our needs on a timely basis. I believe that was probably due to
staffing issues. Prairie View Animal Hospital was able to see us the day we called and prescribe the correct medications for our pet's needs. Thank you Prairie View!

They are probably the best veterinary hospital that I've ever had any of my animals at been a customer for over 15 years and we'll take all my animals there we value their opinions and their suggestions greatly

I called on a Tuesday afternoon to see if I could bring my dog in that evening. They immediately had appointment options for me. I was able to get him in right away. The staff and the Dr. are all patient and calming with the animals. Everything was explained to me and all of my questions were answered. I highly recommend them
