Buyer beware...purchased a Groupon for Mr Window Cleaning in April to have 10 windows, sills and screens cleaned, made my appointment back on June 2 scheduled for today 3-5. I called at 3:30 to see what time they would be here, guy tells me they don't service area, (LIE), and must have been put on cancellation list! Said he would look into it and call me back. I have called 2 more times and only get voicemail. Funny, when I set up appointment i verified my area and if they cancelled why did they mark my groupon as redeemed and not call to tell me!! I have reported them to Groupon and want my $80 back, next is BBB and Channel 7!!!

Purchased "Interior and Exterior Cleaning for 30 Window" from Groupon on Apr 23. First available appt was mid May. Did not show for appt - "stuck at another job". Rebooked for June 29 (first available appt). When cleaners arrived, stated they did not clean "crank windows", only clean "double-hung". Not specified in ad nor was I ever questioned about the windows on the multiple phones calls between company and myself. Worker stated "if we advertised just double-hung, you wouldn't buy it". Spoke to manager who would not concede despite fact that I was reading directly from ad. Manager stated "will not remove screens". I told him that the screens were removed by my husband to make it easier. Manager stated "why didn't he clean the windows then?" Really?? Have emailed Groupon to try to recoup expense. No work performed. Advertising is very deceptive.

We called around and received quotes for the annual window washing. This company gave a OK price, sounded professional. Made an appointment (several weeks) and when they came, they started saying that windows were "not standard" and that they quoted for "double hung" windows, asking us to pay 3x more than quoted. I wonder where they got the idea that all windows are like that, and especially after I explained what our windows were when getting the quote... Lost time, bad experience with this service...
