I just had a new brick front porch totally rebuilt by Italy America. They have done an excellent job. The bricklayer was very experienced and covered every detail. They always cleaned up and did not damage my yard at all. Many years ago they did my next door neighbors front porch and her entire driveway and they still look great.

I hired them to do a 2nd story bumpout. It was a 4 month nightmare. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks. They never worked a full day, took plenty of days off. I had to keep after them every day to try and get work done. This was nothing but excuses and broken promises. They knew the timeline I had and did not care. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! My job was not a priority for them. There was no respect for me and my family. I wouldn't hire them to do a free job if it was offered!

Italy America did an excellent job putting in a new driveway for me 18 months ago however, after this time period, a good portion of my new driveway is spalling. For those who do not know what spalling cement is, it is when the top layer of cement becomes seperated and pieces begin to come off in small chunks. AS the result of this, the overall integrity of the cement is compromised and could destroy the driveway. They responded quickly after I called and I had good thoughts of them standing behind their work. I spent a considerable amount of money on this project and hope they come around and replace the damaged cement. I will keep you informed as to how they treat me and backing up their work. I have a bad feeling this is going to turn ugly whereby I will have to take actions to get this expensive situation corrected. I didn't go with the low bidder on this job, I went with a company with a good reputation who back up their work. All I heard today was a lot of fault to go around with exception to them. I heard the owners son today tell me the spalling is the result of salt from our bad winter. Shock, we live in Michigan and they salt roads. You would think they would take precautions to prevent this from happening in the first place. Again, I will keep this review updated as time passes. This should not be happening only after 18 months... Stay tuned....

Italy American tore down and rebuilt our 2.5 car garage. Salesman and foreman seemed very knowledgeable, professional and provided a fair price. However, the bottom line is what should have been a 3 week project took 2 months to complete and they added costs at the end even though they admitted that they should have gotten our approval before doing the additional work. Several items had to be reworked because it was not built according to the drawing we signed off on and they failed to pass the city electrical inspection twice. They cleaned up great during the demo and building phase, but then left our backyard a bit of a mess from tearing it up redoing the electrical rework.

Italy American built a garage for me and I am extremely please! I have a 2.5 car reverse gable garage with windows, roll up door, side entry door and door opener. The colors I picked look great and even match my house! The extra storage was needed and was accomplished with this project. The office and crew workers were great always keeping in touch and asking how I liked everything during the process. I felt comfortable with this company and will go back for many more projects.

Company added a bathroom in my basement and remodeled my existing first floor. I never would have thought that a basement bathroom could be as elegant as what they did. The price was reasonable and the workers were great. They kept me informed throughout the whole process. They never left my house a mess while renovating, and I thought it was great when they offered to vacuum! Great experience.
