Worst customer service ever.
I stopped by Traffic Shoes to get my friend a surprise pair of shoes. She wears size 6. The shoe i picked up only had size 6.5 and above. I though 0.5 size won't matter and upon check out, i told the cashier that this is a surprise and just in case if she does not like it, can we return, she responded by saying, 'we do not do refunds, but if you pick up any other shoe from the same section, we can do an exchange at no cost.' That was good enough for me and i purchased the shoes.
The shoes were big on my friend, and next day (less than 24 hours) we went back to exchange and get her something that fits . My friend chose another pair from same section and took it to checkout. There was another person at checkout today. Straight up she says, "This pair is $10 more than the one you are returning. Are you willing to pay the difference?" I told her that the cashier from yesterday said that i can pick any from this section at no cost. She speaks to her co worker in Spanish and says, "well, the person working here yesterday was new." I was what about the prices underneath the shoes. She says, "well, they just forgot to update the prices." And she tells her co worker to go and update the prices.
At this point we were stuck, since their return policy did not return money but exchange was the only option.
I could have understood if she was kind, she she was rude through out, speaking to her co worker in a language we did not understand and not once did she apologize.
