Spinning Hills Middle School serves students in grades five and six. Its academic curriculum includes instruction in reading, spelling formation, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and technology education. The school additionally offers classes in art, music and physical education. Spinning Hills Middle School s cocurricular activities include student council, science fairs, intramural sports, geography and spelling bee competitions, and honor and recycling clubs. It also provides gifted and talented education. In addition, the school conducts before-school math tutoring sessions. Spinning Hills Middle School supports a parent-teacher organization that sponsors family fun nights and other fundraising events. The school is a part of Mad River Local Schools.
