I'm sorry to say my mother was here for a few years and passed away not long ago. There are a few aides and nurses who seemed to really care for her. For most of Mom's stay, however, she was treated like an unwanted stepchild. Unless I came in and said something, they left her in bed all day long, and refused to take her to the bathroom because it was "easier" to just change her in the bed. The DON Michele is as fake as they come, and the old administrator Angie was an evil witch. I heard there is a new administrator now and that he's much better, but until they get new nursing staff, I would never recommend this place to anyone I cared about.

It's an absolute dump. Sinks falling off the walls in the bathrooms; bathroom floors curling up, stained, and smelly; residents never get changed because they "don't have any clean washcloths"; the whole place stinks; wheelchairs are disgusting; the food is bad; the director of nursing was overheard saying "the skilled patients come before the long-term care residents"; the staff is ever-changing; call lights stay on for 30 minutes to an hour always; there are no phones in the residents' rooms unless they call the phone company to come install one and pay for it; ice pitchers never get filled up; they always keep bare minimum staffing so the residents suffer; management is unfriendly; therapy is bossy; it costs way too much money for residents to get their hair done. Overall, i would rather let my dog starve to death than take him to this place
