While a rare event, KBD sincerely regrets anytime a customer is unhappy with our work and/or service. We always work extremely hard to provide the best of both, and as our many positive reviews attest we typically do just that. Unfortunately situations do arise occasionally, and while we are currently still trying to resolve this situation to both parties’ satisfaction, please be assured that there is another side to this story that differs significantly from one you may have heard or seen. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY DON”T GET THE REQUIRED PERMITS OR PERFORM ANY WORK TO CODE. I hired them last year to do a complete kitchen remodel. They promised to have the work complete in 4 weeks. I paid them two thirds of the money upfront. Four months later the work still wasn’t done and they had caused so much other damage to my home that I refused to let them come back. The owner of the company acknowledged the vent work they performed was done improperly causing carbon monoxide to leak into my home. They could have KILLED my family. The gas line they ran wasn’t done to code, again a potentially dangerous situation. Along with this most of my cabinets are damaged, doors don’t line up, drawers and handles are crooked. They tried to cover up their poor trim work with caulk, all of which has shrunk and cracked. They caused damage to ceilings, walls, floors, and appliances in four rooms in my home. Electrical work was done incorrectly. They never finished the job and are still trying to get money out of me. I now have to hire an attorney, multiple contractors, and spend more money and time to try to fix this mess they left in my house.
