I just recently moved and desperately needed new home furnishings but didn't want to get stuck with a huge bill. I heard of home to home from a friend at work and thought I would check it out. They have a great inventory and a very personable staff,(not like the robots at Wall mart or Morris.) They even have a decorator, all this being said I got a good amount of quality furniture that will last a long time and got it for a very reasonable price. I would recommend for anyone to check it out.

An unexpected surprise!

I had some reservations going into Home2Home. The only experience I had with consignment stores was Goodwill. This was WELL beyond my very low expectations. I can't believe how large this store is-and so much more than just furniture. The staff was extremely helpful and seemed genuinely knowledgeable about their merchandise and furniture in general. I was also surprised to find new furniture there, and at such LOW prices. It was a real pleasure shopping with the friendly staff and discovering new treasures for my home. I will defiantly be back!

***Excellent selection and service***

My experience at Home2Home was very, very pleasant and easy. The selection ranges from contemporary to rustic, and the price is always right! They have the best selection of framed art and home decor in the dayton area. Plus they arent limited by brand name. They carry everything from Ikea through Thomasville and Ashley.(But for much, much less!!!) Plus with an every-changing inventory you never get bored coming back! Overall, excellent experience. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for furniture, artwork and home decor!!!

Good for sale, bad for personality.

My first encounter with H2H was not pleasant. After briefly reading over the web site, I had a family member help load a trailor and truck with furniture to deliver to the consignment store. I arrived to the back of the store to find my furniture was rudely looked over. Instead of professional comments stating that the furniture was not worthy of their show floor, they were just down right rude with comments. Their efforts were more like they were doing me a favor instead of the appreciation that we were partnering on the deal. Not knowing (no signs present) I asked for help unloading the few pieces they agreed to take. I am stage a stage IV cancer patient with lots of aches and pains associated with it, and I shared that fact. The lady "in charge" then shared she was a "50 year old weak lady" and they do not provide assistance in unloading. Talk about unprofessional and rude!!!!!! And it appears she was the owner of the business. Someone you really trust doing business with. NOT! Yes, I am pleased with the sale of my items. Would I return? I'm not sure. It might be less of a hassle to take the items to Goodwill and not be hassled by this unprofessional group of opportunists. If you want to deal with this group, thicken your skin, incorporate a moving team, and head to H2H for a rude awakening.
