My braids came out in three days. Now mind you I got the braids because I was having surgery. A braid came out soon as I left the shop it was late and my dad was there to pick me up so I didn’t go back in. So the next day, day of surgery me and my mom walking into the hospital more braids falling out my mom said they didn’t do your hair right. As I was being checked in and perp for surgery more came out the nurse said your braids are all over the place how embarrassing . So I called them and they kindly put them back in for me after I got off of bed rest. I would never go back nor would I recommend anyone to them. Thank you for replacing my braids but never again. Oh ps there still falling out.😟🤔.

I decided to give Fe Fe's African Hair Braiding 2 stars. They are still not good enough though obviously even though I feel they are one star better than Layene. I decided to get kinky twists before my birthday back in May for when I took my New York trip. They told me 6 hours, which is the magic number I suppose, and you guessed it, it was more than 6 hours. The end result was fine, but the hair felt too rough. That was my fault because I usually buy my own hair and did not that time. It was a little pricy at $185 with the hair, but if you bring your own I believe the price is $160 but I could be wrong. I was also upset with the fact that even though at one time there were 3 of them working on my head, it still took more than 6 hours AND when I was taking my hair down, some of the kinky twists were braided at the top and then twisted, while others were twisted from the start. That was inconvenient. I would had rathered it all be twisted from the start because it is easier to take down and you can possibly wear the twist outs for a couple of days. I find the prices a little too high also. I just called to see how much it would be to braid my hair straight back with weave brining my own hair. Guess what? $80. Really? For braids straight back!? $80?! I don't think so. But anyway, better than Layene's but still not agood enough like I said earlier. And once again, on the look out for better.
