We've been going there for 10 years and had not one bad steak or any other meat or grocery item. We never buy meat from Kroger in Vandalia because it has so much fat and gristle and at Brunk's you'll never encounter that.

These guys are great! Most of the staff can answer questions about which cuts are best for certain thing and can even suggest how to cook it. You can call ahead and they'll have your order waiting when you arrive.

This place is absolutely amazing I remember going into that market as a little girl with my grandparents and now I am taking my granchildren in there. The same people still own it and take pride in what they sell and what they do. If you ever have the opportunity stop in and try something I guarantee you will LOVE it.
