Dr. Sven Anstadt has helped me out twice on the spur of the moment. The first time I came in with an emergency, which the vet up the street would not help me with because he stated he was closing at that time. Dr. Anstadt was also ready to close, but he stayed open to help my dog, which was choking and foaming at the mouth. He and his staff spent a good half hour with her until she recovered enough to go home, and they were very kind and gracious about staying open late. Another time, I needed a can of prescription dog food, and the vet up the street would not sell it to me even though he had it in stock. I again tried Dr. Anstadt's office. Although he did not have it in stock, he offered to sell me an alternative that had some additional benefits to it, so I was very grateful. Dr. Anstadt is very knowledgeable and has a wealth of tips to help pet owners nip problems in the bud and correct behaviors that undermine a pet's health. I appreciated his willingness and that of his staff to help.
