The short version: they are amazing movers and you should hire them
The long version: We have moved twice in the past two years and used Advantage Movers both times. I worked for a company for 15 years helping seniors pack and unpack so I have met a LOT of movers some amazing and some not so much. I read a lot of reviews before selecting Advantage Movers and I’m glad I did. The moving career is not for everyone it’s hot, raining, and painful but they have such a great attitude and sense of humor. They took the same care with my furniture and belongings as they would their own. As I said, I have a lot of experience with movers and you can tell in how they do their job. They are so patient and kind and don’t mind moving furniture more than once!

Moving is so stressful for me, but from the time they showed up it was honestly relaxing because I had nothing to do and didn’t have to worry about anything. I love to find family owned businesses where you can tell there is joy and pride in the job. While I hope I never have to move again, if I do I will use them in a heartbeat.

What a great and awesome experience we had with Advantage Movers! I can’t think of anything I would complain about. Great communication prior to move and on moving day Mike, Jacob and Austin showed up ready to bust it out! They were so careful with everything loading and unloading. After bringing everything in our new home they were like “we are not leaving until you have everything the way you want it”. And this was 10:00 at night after a long day! I highly recommend Advantage Movers and would use again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much guys!

If you want professional, fast, and friendly movers – look no further.

When I called to get a quote for moving, the cost, what they would move, and what we needed to have done before their arrival was clearly communicated. They let us know what to expect when they showed up. We contacted 5 other movers and Advantage Movers was on par (with far less fees) with the cost of the others; but their service just in the set-up call was leagues above the others. Other movers charge travel time from their ‘shop’ to your door and back again. Advantage movers only charges door-to-door – saving a good amount of money. Other movers charge to wrap (and take care of) your stuff, but everything was included in Advantage Movers fair hourly fee.

Three movers showed up on time (even calling to give us a 30 minute heads up), carefully wrapped and moved big furniture without any damage or even touching a wall. The move took far less time than we anticipated as they worked so hard and efficiently. We had some heavy stuff and were a little concerned about damage both to our stuff and walls – but they made it look easy and pulled it off with no issues what-so-ever.

We debated on just doing the move ourselves and saving some money – but were so happy that we decided not to. We originally planned on having them move only the big stuff, but after seeing how fast and efficient they were – threw in other things as well, which they had no problem with. These guys are well worth the money we paid to not struggle with it ourselves. They were a pleasure to work with and made the move stress free for us. We highly recommend using them.

We recently needed to move are parents from their home to a small assisted living apartment. Advantage showed up on time, with the whole crew smiling, and very enthusiastic. They were professional in every sense of the word. would use them again in a heartbeat, and would recommend them to any one moving in the Dayton Area.

I’m so glad I used Advantage Movers for my recent local move. It was definitely an advantage to work with the principal of the company himself, both in scheduling within a narrow window and in dealing with some out of the ordinary challenges with the move itself. Alan and his sons were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.

Alan and his sons Mike and Ben are by far the best movers we ever used.Besides being very professional, they managed to move several very large and heavy pieces of furniture, some that had to be taken apart and reassembled at our new home. Alan even built braces and improved our bed set with a light bridge and mirrors. They are meticulous and do everything a customer reasonably asked. This was the second move they did for us. We consider them family friends now.

Alan moved me on September 4th. This is the best moving company I have ever used!! Don't hesitate to call this company if your thinking about a move. Very professional, prompt, and reasonable!! Thanks again Alan.

Advantage Movers moved my parents from Dayton to Columbus. Everyone in the family liked them and found them to be extremely professional and careful. They made the drudgery of moving a lot more tolerable. I highly recommend them and I will definitely use them again for another move.

I think this was the best move we've ever had. The Advantage team ( father and sons) were on time, called before they came out, worked hard and fast and were good at their job. Unlike other movers we have used, they did not charge us for their travel time nor their lunch break. We had a lot of stuff in two different locations plus some tricky stairs in the new house they didn't bat an eye. We would recommend Advantage to anyone. We were happy to support this local family run business. Plus we really enjoyed the day and felt like old friends by the end of the move. A+ for Advantage.

These guys really know what they're doing. They made the task of moving my mother from her home of 55 years to an apartment so easy. They did everything with the utmost care. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Alan and the 'Bens' did a great job on our move last week. We estimated 6 hours, but it took longer and they just got it done. There was no damage to either home or furniture during the move. They treated everything with care. They quickly became part of the family in a few short hours. I would recommend them over anyone and their pricing was fair. Great locally owned company.

I hired Advantage Movers based on their great reviews, and my experience with them was no exception. They were patient, flexible, and hard-working. They took good care of our stuff and we appreciate the many, many trips they had to make up and down basement steps!!

Alan and his team were fabulous! I called to book them a week ahead of time, and they were even willing to work with us on a day they normally wouldn't work. Alan carefully interviewed me over the phone to make sure he had all the information necessary to prepare for the moving job, and also explained the company's policies in detail, so we would be well-prepared for the day of the move. The team was kind, courteous, and efficient--we got a move that would have taken my partner and I days to complete done in only a few hours!



I'm often hesitant when I work with a business that has nothing but positive reviews (e.g., I worry that the business is posting the reviews themselves), however, that is NOT the case with Advantage Movers.
