I cant believe how good this meal was. I have never left a review for any restaurant before. The French Onion soup, awesome!

Great Place to Stop, eat and visit

The last time I went to the Iowa Machine Shed, it was terrible. Our steak was fatty, and our fries were stale. The prices are ridiculous. Even if we each (3 of us) were just to get a bowl of soup and something to drink, it would have cost us $20. And that's before tax and the tip. Also, you're supposed to get "the fixin's" with the steak meals and we didn't. When we asked the waitress she said no, we weren't supposed to get those things. So we looked at the menu that she never took from our table and indeed, we were supposed to get the other things to go with our meal. When we talked to the manager he didn't even offer to bring us the things we were missing (all we really wanted was the bread), and then he just went right to offering us free stuff. So we each ended up taking home a free piece of pumpkin pie. When we got to eating about an hour after we got home, I was extremely disappointed. It was really terrible pie. I don't think we will be going back to the machine shed. And I wouldn't give it any stars at all, but I have to give it at least one to post this...
