I rented from advance property.When I paid the deposit I was told that I would get that back when I moved minus the cost of steam cleaning the carpets which is what every tenant must do.I moved out after my lease was up and was a good tenant.Rent was always paid on times and I caused no problems.The lady I always dealt with in the office was ALWAYS rude and didn't handle my questions or problems without being rude.After I got my deposit check back, they took out $60 for cleaning! I did not leave the place dirty & there wasn't any damage.The only thing that was left uncleaned was the oven which I couldn't clean because I am pregnant. Isn't general cleaning part of renting and shouldn't be left to the tenant to take care of? Especially since the oven was the only thing left dirty and the rest of the place was vacuumed and cleaned.I would not recommend renting from this company & the office personnel need to be nicer and deal with tenants problems or questions without giving attitude!

We rent through Advance Properties. The units are older so your utility bills are high and there are soft spots on the floor boards, etc. Maintenance issues are not handled well, if at all. We have done several repairs (the ones we could do ourselves) after being met with very cold, almost rude responses from office personnel taking our calls. We are great renters, take care of our rental, do not disturb other renters, and only bring up issues that really affect our living conditions. Also, I was witness to an eviction, and watched as the staff carried all of the occupants possessions out onto the lawn. This is within the law, but I was shocked when they loaded up company vehicles with electronics, furniture, anything they wanted to take. I didn't think it was legal for the persons evicting a renter, to also take their property for personal gain. I would not recommend renting from Advance Properties to anyone! Please know, I would not write a bad review unless it was warranted.
