I would not recommend going to Dr. Stokes. He is very overpriced and doesn't spend much time on your animal. I called in and asked how much shots would be for my new puppy and they left me a message telling me the price then once I was done with my appointment and paying it was over 3 times what they told me it would cost. Then I called in and asked why they charged me so much and said every time you see him you get charged (it cost about $50 for bout 5 min) for an examination plus he gave my dog a shot she didn't need and I didn't ask for. I said that I might start looking for a new vet and the secretary said "fine" like she didn't even care. He can get the job done but costs why to much and acts like he knows everything.

Dr. Stokes has taken care of my horse herd for a number of years. He is very well versed, good bedside manner, and always comes immediately when called for an equine emergency.
