St. James School offers a variety of educational programs to students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school provides classes in religious and physical education, music, art and Spanish. Its campus features a gymnasium, library, cafeteria, and computer and art rooms. St. James School also offers sessions in science, language arts, reading, mathematics and social studies. The school provides sports activities, such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading and softball. It offers opportunities for students to participate in several student organizations, including National Junior Honor Society and independent school band. In addition, the school organizes educational field trips. It is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. St. James School is a part of St. James Catholic Church and is located in Danielson, Conn.
