Well unlike the other reviews, we have been very satisfied with Zemel's sales and service department. We bought the extended warranty and were satisfied with the service and outcomes. Rhonda in customer service is so easy to deal with and will go way out of her way to satisfy the customer. No big box stores for us, there is nothing like a family owned business. Overall we love our new kitchen and our selection of appliances. We never felt rushed or pressured to buy at Zemel's and the sales department was so helpful in going over what we selected and how to use it all!!! They want to please the customer! You will not find a person like Rhonda at a big box store, she is a treasure. Thanks for all your help, everyone!!!! Julie C. 6/16/17

AWFUL!!! I will NEVER go here again and I would advise EVERYONE to STAY AWAY!!! The salesmen are very friendly, yes. The service is absolutely NON-EXISTENT!!!
I purchased the top of the line KitchenAid refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher.

At delivery, they noticed that the side of the refrigerator looked like someone drove a fork lift into it and said they would reschedule a new delivery for another one. They get the stove inside the kitchen and notice the side panel is smashed, they told me they were not moving it back to the truck and ordering a new one since it was already in the home, they told me they'd send out a "KitchenAid" service tech to replace the side panel. Then they brought in the dishwasher (completely covered in padding so unable to see the shell of the appliance) I was told that item was fine.

I have had 3 service tech visits due to the refrigerator icing over in the freezer drawers and in the top fridge section. 1st time they showed up with a hair dryer to melt the ice and told me it was fine. UNREAL!!! The ice was back within an hour. They came out a 2nd time, they used the same hair dryer and told me that the seal was bent, but it was fixed. AGAIN, they came out a 3rd time and told me that I needed a new front door ordered. I Told them I wanted a replacement unit, they said no they would need to call KitchenAid and get approval if the new door didn't fix the issue. They never showed this has been months now since I last heard from them...

The dishwasher was put in a few weeks after I had the appliances delivered, When the installer was putting it in he noticed the top back side that sits under the counter was damaged with a huge dent and the metal was rippled as if they dropped it off a loading dock, I called Zemel's AGAIN, and they told me "It's your problem you waited too long to have it installed".

Continuation of issues...stay away and save yourself the headaches of a company that doesn't stand behind their products!

Zemel's sales person steered us to a washer and dryer set that turned out to be complete lemons, and then took absolutely no responsibility for them. We have had four service calls: three on washer and one on the dryer, in two years. When we asked Zemel's to help to rectify this issue, Rhonda simply referred us to a non-responsive (why would they be responsive, it's a warranty call) service organization. We even offered to have Zemel's swap for a comparable floor model, but was told no. As much as it is a shame, this is why you should buy from the big box stores. Costco would have likely simply replaced the defective machines; Zemel's cares more about their bottom line than customer loyalty. We now will have to deal with warranty calls until we give up and buy a new set.

I wish there were a way to give zero stars. I would never shop here again. The first time I used the new appliance purchased from Zemel's, it did not work properly. Zemel's advice was to unplug the unit and let it "re-set" for 24 hours. When that failed to fix anything (what a surprise), we contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer researched the history and problems reported on this appliance, and agreed it was defective and should be replaced. The problem turned out to be with Zemel's. They would not participate in the exchange, which meant a different retailer would need to be found who would transport the new unit and take out the defective one. During the discussions with the manufacturer's customer service about Zemel's conduct in this matter, I learned that the extended 5 year manufacturer's warranty that Zemel's had offered in order to close the sale - was completely bogus and unknown to the manufacturer. According to the manufacturer, this is apparently a well known ploy used by some retailers. Zemel's is clearly one of them. I would never trust this dealer again.
