They were cutting down a tree in my neighbor's yard, dropped it into my vegetable garden. Good thin
g I wasn't watering!!! When I had the nerve to get upset, Serge swore at me and called me a nasty name. (At no time was I uncivil to him or his crew.) Don't hire this person if you don't want to get hurt, be insulted, or have your property damaged!!

Serge cut down a large tree and dropped off seasoned firewood. He had an attitude the entire time, he did a sloppy job, and cut up the wood in larger chunks than we had agreed on. A few weeks ago I started (trying) to burn the (seasoned) firewood he sold me and it was horrible, wouldn't burn at all. I've tried to contact Serge several times and received no calls back

Bait & Switch - after negotiating a rate to take a tree down to include grinding the stump (paying up front in cash), Serge never showed back up to grind the stump. Upon calling, he said he would take care of it but never has (going on 2 years now). Horrendous customer service, with a huge attitude. I used to recommend him to my friends and neighbors - no more. Angies List and the Better Business Bureau next on my list...

Do not buy firewood from Serge Isabelle, dba Tree Masters of Danbury. I purchased 2 cords, he delivered 1 1/2 cords of green wood. When stacked and found to be short by 1/2 cord, I called and He made no-show appointments to check my stack. When he finally came, he attempted intimidation, told me my stack had more than one cord in it so that it only appeared I was 1/2 cord short, he walked back to the truck saying, "I will not deal with you, I do not like your attitude." He drove away and I am out 1/2 cord. He refused to give a sales invoice and he did not want a check that stated the nature of the services rendered. He does not want a paper trail on his sales activity and of course his income. He was hostile and arrogant from the moment I met him.
