I am a student of Wujiquan at the Wujido Institute. The training is Unique and not like other martial arts to my knowledge, very demanding. I am convinced that Wujiquan is far superior to other martial arts for me. The techniques I am taught are very powerful. It is difficult to describe how that is. I think I can understand why Dr Harkins screens a student before allowing that person to study Wujidquan under him. Luckily a person can join the Wujido and train while the candidate is observed for good character, integrity, and sincerity along with an ability to sustain effort over a long period of time. He considers it very important to protect the lineage for the future from being corrupted.

Applying what I have been taught at the Wujido (under the guidance of Dr Harkins) I am physically, mentally and spiritually stronger than I have ever been in my life. The Principles he teaches have transformed my life for the better.

One of the more interesting things about training at the Wujido Institute is the teaching style of Master Harkins. He blends in good humor and enjoyable activity with teaching of core principles, theory and practice even historical perspective. People have fun. People are treated with dignity and respect. Attending class at the Wujido I no longer have the daily shoulder and back pain I have experienced most of my adult life. I no longer fear the type of people who would try to physically hurt me or my family. I am proud to be a student of the Wujido Institute. I am grateful to Dr Harkins for how he has helped me in my life.

Dr Harkins observes me and takes my training at the pace that is best for me. Training at the Wujido is a lot less expensive than people say. Fee simple is the approach at Wujido so there are none of the loss-leader come-ons, add-on purchases and participation fees or frequent promotion fees which no contract schools usually only are around for a few months, maybe a year before they go out of business because they can't pay the rent.
