Provided by YP.comDO NOT LIVE HERE. I lived at this complex for about 2 years. When I moved in no one cleaned the entire apartment and it was disgusting. No new carpets and everything was extremely old. Given the cheap price of the apartment, I wrote it off and cleaned the place myself. Even went as far as to hire an outside carpet cleaning agency to clean the carpets for me. They also charged me a $500 pet deposits for my two cats that I paid. In addition, during those brutal summer months the air conditioning never worked. I would call all the time to complain about the AC and they claimed to fix it. I kept calling back and they claimed they went into my apartment with a thermometer near the vents and that it was 70 degrees. I am telling you there is no possible way it was 70 degrees in that apartment as I was dripping with sweat and would have to stay with friends. Anyone that came over the apartment even said it was unbearable. I finally decided to move out. Upon move out, I get a bill from them from $300 saying I need to pay for the carpet to be replaced because it was soiled with pet stains. I know my cats and never once did they ever not go into the litterbox. I called to complain about the bill stating that I paid a $500 pet deposit, spoke about how the carpets were disgusting when I moved in and I even noted that on my move in sheet, paid to get the carpets cleaned myself and that I do not see why I would owe $300. Long story short they refused to talk to my mother or me about the problem and charged me the $300 regardless. This entire complex is a scam and just out to take your money. Don't move here and spare yourself the heartache of possibly moving into an apartment with AC that doesn't work or dealing with some scam of a bill as you move out.

Provided by YP.comThe Springs is far from being the swankiest complex in the Uptown/Cedar Springs area. I'm the first to admit that the fixtures are a little old and everything moves at a little slower pace here. But you'd be hard pressed to find a more neighborly complex in all of Dallas.
The people here pay attention to each other and treat each other like real neighbors and friends. The little park is just beautiful and is such a nice place to relax on the weekends or after work. In the evenings, you can always hear your neighbors chatting in the garden and sharing the local gossip du jour. A lot of the residents work in the nearby businesses, so you'll feel right at home when you grab a bite at Lucky's or Buli or stop for groceries at Kroger & Whole Foods.
The management staff have each been here for 10+ years and really work to make it feel like a community. They know everyone by name and are happy to stop and chat when you come in to pick up a package or drop off your rent. It's a FAR cry from most complexes where there's a new manager in the office every time you pay your rent.
For history buffs, both the main office-house and the park have historical landmarkers due to their place in the history of Cedar Springs/Dallas.
There's even a community cat that everyone knows and takes care of. I've never seen a fatter stray in my life!
If you're looking for a place to see and be seen, go a mile up the road and you'll find plenty of those complexes. But if you want a place that really feels like home, this is the place to be.
