I'm putting one star only because i HAVE to apparently. I'd rate this place negative 5 stars If i could! I moved into my one bedroom den (which they somehow considered to be equivalent to a 2 bdrm 1 bath) with my 2 year old in July of 2013! Initially, I thought it was ok for the price ($575). It was relatively clean (so i thought) minus a few dings and scuffs and bad touch up work to the damage, it was liveable. OH how i was so WRONG! I had 2 other tenants since about week 2 in my apt ceiling. Whether they were opossums or raccoons, I'm not sure, I do know that they scratched, and cried, and ran across my ceiling in my fireplace, closet, and air vents daily. I have this on video! There are drug addicts that roam the area, prostitutes that roam the streets at any hour, i've been headed to work a few times at 7a and seen businessmen in foreign cars pick up ladies off of the street and speed off. All of the apts in the area are run down, overpopulated, and not maintained at all. The "HOA office" is never open, the HOA administrator will dodge you at any cost and never has an answer to your question. The HOA office smells old and musty, It doesnt seem clean at all. The units are infested with roaches and bugs, mold and mildew. I was so disgusted I never really wanted to cook whilst living there. My dishwasher was rusted and backed up with disposal water with ground up food in it so i couldnt use it. I advised my "landlord" he stated that it just needed to be ran through a few cycles and was fine. I constantly had to sit and wait as my neighbors with 4 cars used my parking spot while i was at work for their cars or their family's car. I could go on for days on how horrible this place is. Visitor parking is outside of the community gates and terrifying to walk to at night. I typically never leave my apt after I get home from work. My spouse's vehicle was towed from the alleged "mail man's spot" which was NOT marked, cost us $300. I am so glad that my lease ended and i have since then moved into something much nicer. I would not recommend these apts to my worst enemies! Definitely not a place to raise a child/family.
