It was our anniversary yesterday. No Indian food in Stephenville so we drove 2 hours to Dallas for this restaurant. Best decision! It was wonderful. We love, love, loved the food. What made it even better was how fantastic the servers were. If our server wasn't readily available then another was right there. My biggest appreciation was them knowing that when I moved my appetizer plate to the inside of the table, it meant that I didn't want it removed from the table. They didn't even ask me. Very classy. We will be going back very soon and taking my parents.

I have to write this although its late at 11pm at night!



I just came back from Taj Mahal restaurant after dinner and to my joy - its the best experience I have ever had. Being away from home for almost 1 month now, I was basically craving for some good indian restaurant and believe me I have tried eating at a few restaurants here and to my dissappointment they cook for the non-Indians's taste.



I was pleased when the person taking my order asked if I wanted my food cooked in a traditional indian style. When the food came about 15 minutes later, my wife and I ate the whole order in just minutes.



The chef / owner came out to greet me as I told the waiter that I was not from around here. This - I must say is a very personal touch.



I will definitely come back to Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant the next time I am in Dallas, Texas.
