Before we contacted Keith to conduct a home inspection for us, we read the many excellent reviews that he has received from other clients, which raised our expectations for the level of service. Keith, however, far exceeded our high expectations! In addition to his admirable patience for our questions (we are first-time homebuyers), he encouraged us to tag along with him as he inspected the property, so that we could see what he saw. He pointed out areas of concern, why they were concerns, and suggested ways that we could address those concerns. Keith made us feel comfortable in what could have been a stressful situation. Even after the inspection, Keith has remained in contact with us and welcomes any questions that we may have regarding the inspection and any proposed repairs or services. In short, Keith went (and continues to go) above and beyond what is expected of a property inspector. We cannot recommend Keith highly enough to anyone who is looking for thorough inspection.

As first-time home buyers, we had a lot of questions and Keith was incredibly patient, clear, and went above and beyond his duties as an inspector by explaining everything to us while completing the inspection and giving us home maintenance tips along the way. In addition to the minor issues, Keith caught significant ones that we were able to address with the sellers before inheriting costly issues and problems. Even after our inspection, Keith checks in with us if we have any questions. He even reviewed repair documents post-inspection to offer advice about whether or not the repairs listed would address the problem(s) he noted. There were problems with this guy from the word go. He scheduled for a day he was out of the country. Doh! Email communications were garbled. Required several clarifications. My due diligence included checking reviews and verifying licensure. I gave a detailed list of known issues and items that I and wanted checked, with what had already been inspected recently. I arrived at the house to find that the front door pushed open before I could fully insert the key. (I had left deadbolt on; he obviously didnt reset it and didnt latch the door). The utility door was not relocked. He left bathroom heaters on (they either worked minimally or were shorted), left the oven on, pulled cords for appliances and didnt replace them (washer & my laptop went outconnected; no power). I confronted him about the front door not being secured and all he had was excuses. Bottom line: go elsewhere if you want responsible, professional service. The guy was sloppy all round.

My realtor recommended Keith for our home inspection and we couldn't have been happier. He was extremely thorough in explaining everything, and also put together a comprehensive report with detailed descriptions and photos for each item in the house in a very timely manner. We would recommend Keith to anyone who needs a home inspection, and definitely use him again if we were ever buying another house.

Keith Boggs did a pre-inspection on my home that I have just listed for sale. He was on time and very professional. He was very detailed in his inspection. He found the things that I would not have so I can make the repairs before a potential buyer puts a contract on my house. He explained all of his findings and took time to answer all of my questions. He also provided a very detailed report with pictures showing the areas of concern that he found. I think he is a great inspector and will definitely be calling him to inspect the home that I will buy once mine sells. I can't imagine anyone being more thorough than Keith. The inspector arrived on time and completed a very thorough inspection. I am impressed with the report. It included detailed information, to include pictures, that highlighted even the most minor issue with the home I am buying. He more than provided me with the information needed to make a purchase decision. I highly recommend SPI and would use them again.

I had an excellent experience with Stonebriar inspections. The inspection was scheduled very quickly, within 2 days starting from the first phone contact, started on time on the day of the appointment and was conducted very efficiently in less than 2 hours and the fee was very reasonable. A 1-hour review walk-through in the property was done right after the inspection with many questions answered promptly and clearly. A very exhaustive 42 pages report was received through email the day after the inspection date. Moreover another important email question about the property was answered clearly by email the same day the report was received. I hired Keith to do my property inspection in Allen on a referal from multiple realtors that had used him in the past. This is my first home purchase and needless to say i was already a little nervous. Keith was awesome and very detailed. He was not distracted by the many questions I was asking while he was performing the inspection, he never missed a beat! The report itself was sitting in my email the next morning even though we didnt get finished with the inspection until about 7:30pm the night before! He takes close up pictures of any item that is questionable and places them in the report and describes each problem and the best course of action. He has an awesome newsletter called " your monthly maintenance minute" that he sends to you. This is a monthly email newsletter on maintenance tips that should be taken from month to month and with the season changes. I am very impressed and would recommend him to anyone that needs a home inspection.

Keith is a great inspector. He was thorough and thoughtful. He came out twice to verify information given to him by sellers. He explained everything in detail and did not mind all the questions being asked. You can't go wrong with Keith. It is hard in this day in age to find someone so honest,understanding and nice. If you are looking for a highly qualified home inspector who is extremely thorough, we highly recommend Keith Boggs form SPI. My wife and I just moved to the area from NY and since we did not know anyone here we went with Keith based upon guidance from our realtor. A++ is all we can say. Keith spent over 3 hours inspecting our new home and analyzed everything from below the ground up. His report is very detailed with several photos, reviews of areas inspected and repairs that should be completed prior to closing. Keith's inspection will save us both upfront and in the long run and also gave us tremendous peace of mind on our home.
