Great move, quote was affordable and way cheaper than Atlas, which quoted me an outlandish sum for the extra packing I would need. Speedy Movers did a great job, and I definitely recommend them. One of the movers took a dump in my bathroom though and didn't flush. I was too embarrassed to call him out on it, but other than that everything went well.

Let me start this off by saying I usually move long distance every 2 or 3 years for work. I don’t usually try out moving companies that I’m not personally acquainted with, but when I found out that I needed to move my large 1 bedroom from Dallas to Chicago within a week and a half, my friend James recommended Speedy Movers to me. The quote they gave me was roughly comparable to others I had gotten, but my one major caveat was that I wanted my items to arrive within a week and a half and not to have to wait a long time. At first Rachel (my sales contact) told me she couldn’t guarantee it, but when I made it clear that the window was too long, she was able to quote me a guaranteed delivery date for $500 extra. While it was pricey, I just received my items yesterday, exactly 5 days after my pickup. I’m not sure if Speedy Movers operate out of Chicago, but if you are looking to move by Dallas, and need a fast delivery, definitely check out Speedy Movers and make sure to hear the pricing on their guaranteed delivery option. Rachel was my contact there; I can’t recall the movers’ names, though the foreman had a light Spanish accent.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We chose Speedy Movers because they had the lowest cost, but it was not worth it. I moved from Austin to Seattle. I gave them my move in date and they did not arrive in Seattle until 25 days later. So I was without a bed, a couch, cooking utensils and most of my clothes for that whole time. I called customer service to see when my stuff would be arriving and they could never give me a straight answer. One person said the stuff was already on its way, one person said it was leaving that weekend and another said they would check with the dispatcher and call me back. They never called back.



My stuff ended up leaving 3 weeks later. Many boxes arrived beaten up. The one box of breakable stuff I had was all broken even with the word FRAGILE written all over it. Worst of all, my box spring arrived but my mattress and bed frame did not. The driver made 5 stops before getting to me so he may have dropped my mattress off at one of those places, but of course he didn’t know and they have no proper system to track that.



I called customer service every day after the delivery to check on my missing mattress and bed frame. They would always say we are going to contact our dispatcher and let you know. They would never call me back. I kept calling and eventually asked to talk to the dispatcher myself but they apparently cannot give out that number. Luckily I had it on my phone from when they called to tell me my stuff was being delivered so I called them myself. When I asked about my missing mattress and bed frame the lady said it was the first time she had heard it was missing – after a week and a half of me calling customer service and them saying they were contacting the dispatcher they were doing nothing... Thankfully the lady at the warehouse was very helpful and kind. She doesn’t work for Speedy Movers so of course she knows how to do her job right. Her name is April and her number is 972-432-4407 in case you need it.



They never found my mattress or bed frame, and the 66 cents per pound coverage is only going to pay for 1/10 of what a new one costs if they ever pay me. Don’t use Speedy Movers. They don’t care about you or your stuff. They only pretend to care until they get you to sign the contract. This company doesn’t know what they’re doing. DO NOT USE THEM.

If you are getting a million quotes via email- STOP LOOKING- JUST CALL DANIEL at Speedy. He's the manager- he's by far the most knowledgeable of all reps I've talked to at other companies. He's friendly and can answer all the hard questions honestly even if its not what I wanted to hear. He's the guy- he worked with me to get a great price for my last minute move to Miami for work. Great experience all around. Ask for the driver Jonathan also!

I moved from New Orleans to Buffalo, and while Speedy Movers weren't the cheapest option, I am more than satisfied with the service they provided. The movers showed up about 45 minutes late, but they immediately started packing everything up. My 2 bedroom apartment was packed up and loaded in no time. My items arrived about 3 weeks later, and everything seems to be in order. I didn't have any major surprises and the sales rep went through the entire process with me from start to finish. Would recommend!

2) Moving is a very stressful process, and choosing a company is just as difficult. I chose Speedy Movers because of the representative Chelsea, who was really kind on the phone and sat with me and discussed the move down to the last aspect. I had a lower quote with Condor, but Chelsea was able to match it and she lowered her price when I pushed. When moving day came the movers loaded everything up nicely and boxed both my TVs and pictures as we had agreed upon beforehand. I did have a few extra boxes on pickup and I paid more for them, but the entire process was fair and I am definitely satisfied with the service rendered. I moved from Houston to San Diego, I think the foreman’s name was Jonathan.

Would not recommend. 3 weeks and waiting and still no belongings. That's on top of them arriving 6hrs late and still being highly encouraged to leave a tip. Very stressful move and would encourage others to do their research and get a reputable company.

I moved from Dallas to New York, and I had a great moving experience. Speedy movers was exactly what they advertise...Speedy. Make sure to ask about discounts, they are very friendly when it comes to helping you out financially.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You have been warned. I wish I had seen the past reviews before I stupidly chose them as my moving company. What should have been an easy move, turned into a huge nightmare. HIDDEN FEES galore. In the contract it says that if there are any additional fees, the movers will notify us upon pick up. I was never notified of any extra fees at the time of my pick-up. They held my stuff hostage unless I paid an additional $500 of ridiculous fees that I was never made aware of. Customer service is terrible. They act like it is your fault and there is nothing you can do about it unless I paid the amount. How are these people still in business? DO NOT USE THEM. They might sound like the cheapest bid initially, but I assure you, after their crazy hidden fees, you could have easily used someone more reputable.
