OPEN NOW - Closes at 11:59pm

When I left my home on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, I used my windshield cleaner to spray my window and used my windshield wipers to clean it. One of my wipers came off so I put it in the car with me and left for work figuring I would stop somewhere on the way. I was on the Tollway and exiting Lovers Lane and I came upon the Shell Station in Snyder Plaza. I saw a man opening up the bay doors and so I pulled up to ask if he could help me. I pulled up and open the door and stepped and said, Sir. Before I could even ask my question he yelled back, we're not open yet. He no more let me get my question out. I could have been asking for directions or what time the station opened, anything, but he never gave me the opportunity. Needless to say I thanked him and drove off angered with how, especially a man, could deny a woman's question without hearing it possibly knowing she might be having car trouble and after all, he did work at a gas station.



I then drove over to a Mobil Lube/Inspection station on Mockingbird at Greenville. I noticed when I approached the door that they technically weren't open yet because the door said 8:00 a.m. and it was about 7:45 a.m. however when I grabbed the door, it was open and three gentlemen were standing there and each one turned to ask me how they could help. A nice gentlemen by the name of Dave came out to fix my windshield wiper and informed me that the clip was broke. He told me he could sell me another but I could get it cheaper at the auto parts store. I told him to go ahead and replace it since I was there. He proceeded to go into the shop and find a clip and fixed my windshield wiper FOR FREE. I thanked Dave for his help and went on my merry way. The guy at the Shell station could learn a lesson in customer service. I have told everyone today about my experience and they have all said they wouldn't do business there and I will continue to spread the word.
