Research Across America (RAA) was founded in 1992 by Dr. Jeffrey Adelglass as a premier patient-focused research center. Today RAA has research sites across the United States and a staff that has performed nearly 2,000 clinical research trials in multiple disease areas. Currently the sites employ over 100 highly trained health professionals whose emphasis is on the quality of delivery of research procedures and services and participant safety. In addition, high attention is placed on the importance of the relationship with clinical research volunteers. RAA incorporates patient convenience and a focus on professionalism throughout the organization. The in-house call center provides access to trained patient screening staff five days a week and offers quick referrals to the multiple sites across the country. The Patient Welcome Program incorporates attention to the volunteers’ needs from initial screening through the last visit. Patients who participate in the trials conducted by RAA boast a 97 percent rate of retention. Over 100 pharmaceutical and biotechnical companies have placed their research studies with RAA for over 20 years and return time and again to work with the team. The many accomplishments of Dr. Adelglass, his more than 20 physician research partners, and the staff illustrate their commitment to clinical research and the furthering of new medical advances. In 2012, RAA was voted one of the top 100 workplaces in Dallas, Texas, the site of the company’s headquarters.
