I was very impressed with this hotel everything about it was nice, the room were very nice and ther beds were amazing. We enjoyed our stay

I must first tell you that we booked our stay through expeida.com. opening our door we found that the room was not handicaped as requested, when I asked the front desk about it I was left standing there while several others were taken care of (all of whom arrived at the desk after myself).the ice machines on our floor were not working at all. the hallways were as hot as TEXAS is expected be. Now my wife and I have stayed in many hotels across the nation some of which were not so good others that were great this hotel was picked because of our stay in PORTLAND,OREGON. we expect there to be some things to change but this was way to much for the worse the only thing my wife and I do agree on was the resturant in the hotel we were not only greeted with warm and caring people, we were also treated to our first SUSHI and man it was GREAT . I don't see why the HOTEL couldn't be as good.. The two of us will not be back to this hotel again for the reasons above but also the bat had mold around it,the mattress had to be at least 5 to 10 years old the carpet was sticky (don't know why) the TV chanels didn't cover very much, The standerd that CHOICE HOTELS standerds by must have overlooked this hotel .

The next time we are in the DALLAS area we will be sure to overlook this hotel also. Now you ask well why did we stay??? well it would take 7 to 14 days to refund the cost and we were just going to have to make the best of it . Oh befor I forget the pool was not even open because of some reason that couldn't be told to me After all this is TEXAS in June (duh)no pool?? whats up with that?? Now my wife and I will go back on the road for another 14 to 21 days befor our next time off.. I'm sorry to say we have spent a lot less for a lot more at a CLARION in another location,, guess we just have to look harder next time..
