“My personal experience was a negative one, they never completed the job and personal items were stolen. Please use caution when deciding to hire Precision General Contractors or Restore Dallas. Dan Sutherland was a very likeable guy at the beginning but I cannot get him to contact me after things started going badly”.

Please let this serve as a reminder to others that might be looking for a contractor. Our experience with Dan and Precision General Contractors (they go by Restore Dallas also) did not go well. In summarization, the sub contractors they hired walked off the job due to non-payment and Precision never completed the job. After a month of the house being in chaos and not complete, we hired another group to come in and finish it. Although we wish Precision no harm please let this serve as warning to do your homework before hiring contractors

We experienced a fire in the kitchen of our home this summer that caused major damage from the fire itself, as well as immense water damage from the efforts to put out the fire. We immediately contacted our insurance company, who made arrangements for us to stay at a hotel.



We were referred to Precision General Contractors and we contacted them and arranged for them to visit the property and meet with us. They inspected the problem and spent hours analyzing every angle of the damage and the cost. They itemized everything into a very organized estimate showing all of the cost. We eventually retained them as our general contractor and they met with our adjuster when he visited the property. They worked diligently with the adjuster and they were on the same page regarding the steps needed to be taken to make the repairs and the costs involved. Every single aspect of everything affected was covered.



Precision went about making the repairs almost immediately. Their crews were managed by one project manager who kept in close contact with us throughout the whole process. The crews arrived early every morning 6 days out of the week. It was extremely important to us that the repairs were handled quickly as we were in a hotel with our children while the repairs were made. They never let the job sit stale. We felt like they used every hour available to make the needed repairs. Very efficient!



The end result was more than fantastic. Every single item was put back together brand new, many of which were actually upgraded to better quality. At the end of the day, the only thing out of our pocket was the deductible. We were in the hotel a total of 11 days. Before we moved back in, Precision even paid to have a professional maid service clean our home. It was like nothing had ever happened.



We can’t say enough nice things about Precision General Contractors and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing a great contractor!

We hired Precision General Contractors to rehabilitate our kitchen, bathroom and living room after a busted toilet destroyed most of the walls and flooring. They came in and immediately dried out the moisture and removed all wet material. They met with our insurance representative and worked very cordially with her throughout the whole ordeal. Everything was paid for and they rebuilt everything brand new, way better than it was before. Very easy process. Thank you for everything. Glenn in Dallas.

My insurance agent suggested I call Dan at Precision when my garage had an electrical fire. He was professional, sympathetic, courteous and efficient. He worked well with Nationwide and was able to get everything replaced brand new (and then some) for the total agreed insurance price. He was always calling me before I had to call him. Other companies estimated 6 months to complete the job and Precision was completed in 3. Dan asked me today to submit a review and I'm happy to do it! This is a sincere thank you for everything you have done. We hope we don't need you again but if we do, we will certainly call you pronto. This company is wonderful! They were referred to us by our insurance agent. They did everything they said they would do. We hired them 2 weeks ago. The insurance claim was approved a couple days later. Roof, siding, windows, fence work, drywall, paint and skylights ALL FINISHED within a week later. The insurance adjuster even told me that I had a very good contractor. Most of my neighbors haven't even had any work started. I would recommend Precision General Contractors to anyone needing insurance related repairs! A+

My wife and I filed an insurance claim after our house was severely damaged from the hail storm last August. The insurance company came out and covered the damage to the gutters, the siding and several windows but denied the roof (right, how could the roof not be damaged if all the other things were?)." We then hired Precision General Contractors LLC of Dallas and they took extensive photos, measurements and wrote up a very sophisticated report. They were very thorough and prepared. They then sent the information to my insurance company and they sent another adjuster out to inspect the roof again. The new adjuster agreed with Precision and wrote a check for the roof on the spot. Precision then installed the new roof about a week later along with the rest of the repairs. They sent a tremendous crew out who were clean, polite and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Every single thing that was approved by the insurance company was completed in 3 days and I couldn't find not one thing to complain about. I have already referred 2 of my neighbors to Precision and they took care of their jobs for very satisfied customers as well. If you have an insurance claim, you shouldn't call anyone else but Precision General Contractors LLC to help you. Job well done guys!
