I can not in all honesty even give them one star. Their billing practice sucks! If you are forced to use the laboratory because, be sure to keep copies of all statements and canceled checks. They fail to properly credit your account balance and then when called on it, do not attempt to resolve the issue in a timely manner.

This laboratory refuses to subscribe to United Healthcare insurance placing the full liability of their services on the patient. Almost always, a patient is not able to investigate nor choose a lab to perform pathology after they have been admitted as a patient through the hospital's emergency room. To expect a fully covered patient to pay out of pocket because this group refuses to deal with one of the biggest health insurers is an outrage. I will be filing my complaint with the Texas Dept of Insurance and if this lab does anything to attempt to collect from me personally, it will be my pleasure to retain counsel and pursue those legal options available to me under law.
