This company is a complete scam DO NOT be fooled by the 5 star reviews more than likely they had someone to write them for them. You WILL NOT get the service you paid for. Has been reported to the BBB more than enough to be shut down. Service was paid for in advanced but service was not complete they too my money & ran. Left furniture in parking lot.

I moved across the country and through Budget Van Lines, Oasis moved my items. I was told that it would take 3-20 days to receive my things. It took 67 days (53 business days if that's what they meant). Up until the last couple of weeks, I heard nothing from them. I got a call towards the end saying that they would deliver in about 3 days. Two weeks went by before I heard from them again. I spoke with someone from Budget about a possible discount on the price of the move as they were way out of the time frame that was in the contract (the 3-20 days). I was told that someone from Budget had contacted someone from Oasis and that a discount was possible.

While I was at work, I got a call (and voice mail) that the movers would deliver the next day. I called back to confirm and to ask about the possible discount. The mover I spoke to gave me a higher price than what was originally quoted, was extremely rude, threatened to steal my things, and hung up on me. I contacted someone from Budget (as at this point it was past business hours and I had mostly been in communication with people from Budget) and I was told that the movers would not deliver the next day (as I no longer felt safe having the movers come to my house when I would be alone). I was at work the next day (and cannot receive phone calls at work). I got a missed call from the drivers around 2, then a call from my mom (who had been at the pickup location) around 5 saying the movers were an hour away. I am a preschool teacher. I can't just leave work whenever I need to. Even if I had gotten the call at 2, I still can't just get out early if there's no one to cover for me. I got out of work as soon as I could and met the mover at my house.

The mover was courteous and did a great job of getting everything in the house. I was surprised that there was only ONE mover to move in furniture, seeing as how if he couldn't have gotten furniture up the few stairs I have, I would have been out of luck. After he was done, I noticed that there were items that were missing. He did a cursory glance of the truck and said that that was all of stuff. I was missing a flat screen tv, a papasan chair, two shelving units, and a DVD binder full of DVDs. The mover said that he didn't remember any tv or the other missing items and left.

I did get a claim form to fill out for the missing items, but this is absurd. I mean, for almost 3 months, I heard nothing from them. The fact that it took that long is ridiculous. I never would have used this company if I had known it could have taken that long. Plus, my DVD binder was IN A BOX, which means someone had to open the box and go through my things to take it. All of my boxes were secured with loads of duct tape and packaging tape, and one box (which I believe had the DVD binder) had tape that looked tampered with. I got to spend 3 months worrying if I would ever see my stuff again to find that some of it had indeed gone missing. The items that are missing were moved out of a storage unit at the pickup location. The movers were told to take everything out of the storage unit and load it up.

Also, the discount for being so out of the time frame I was given? $20. That's it. I paid almost $2000 for my stuff to take 3 months to get to me and now I also have to replace my tv, chair, shelves, and my entire DVD collection. I would NEVER use this company again or recommend it. STAY AWAY.

I did not have a positive expe...

I did not have a positive experience with Oasis Moving, Inc. as a company, but the actual movers that showed up at my place were great. When I set up my appointment, I was told that two movers should show up between 2-4pm on a Monday so I took a half day from work so I could be at the apartment when they arrived. On the day of the move, around 3:30pm I got a call from a woman saying the movers were running late and should arrive around 4:15. By the time 5:30 rolled around, I called the office to ask what was going on. Debbie said she'll make some calls and then get back to me. Around 5:40 three movers showed up at my door, saying they were asked to come to my place but were not given any information other than my address and phone number! Since I had not heard from Debbie, I called her to let her know someone finally arrived. I asked if I could get some sort of compensation for the inconvenience, and she said no - she already gave us a good price, this is the nature of the business and that the movers should have called! What kind of customer service is that?! I didn't even get an "I'm sorry!" I told my husband, who was still at work, what she said and he called Debbie to complain. She was willing to give us $10 off the total move (ha!), and asked him to have me call her so she could talk to one of the movers to get some more information. I called the office and no one picked up the phone. After repeated attempts to get a hold of someone I left a voicemail message but never got a call back (it is now Tuesday as I write this). We ended up paying the full price to the movers because we didn't want them to get screwed like us - they had just finished a move and were on their way home when they got the call to come to our place, and the money now had to be split three ways instead of two.
