Stay away!! After meeting with Dr Leffert for appx 10 minutes, we had mutually agreed we would not have a patient doctor relationship, due to differences of opinion on what drugs should be used to treat thyroid conditions such as mine. He told me that he would not charge me a full consult which is usually 40 minutes, since we had met so briefly. However his staff did charge me and claimed to my insurance company that a detailed history and exam were done and a low level medical decision was made. None of these things are true. Normal amount paid for this code is 119.00 and I was charged 133.06. Very disappointing way to do business!
