Nogales Produce is owned and operated by the Saldivar family. Nogales Produce Inc was established in 1989 and has been serving the Dallas Metroplex ever since. We started in the Dallas Farmers Market selling produce to our friends and neighbors. We soon realized that there was an opportunity for the local Dallas businesses to carry great, fresh produce. In 1990 we purchased our first truck and became incorporated. We began by making small store deliveries and as word of our Fresh produce got around we were approached by a large Dallas food store chain to supplement their deliveries. One thing led to another and we now service over 2, 000 stores and restaurants in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. While we still consider ourselves a "local" wholesaler around the Dallas area, we now dispatch over 80 trucks daily throughout 8 counties in Central and Northern Texas. We've built our business based on a few simple principles: Top quality produce matched by top quality service and the fastest delivery times you're likely to find anywhere. To assure prompt, often same-day delivery, we maintain our own fleet of temperature controlled trucks. Our produce is stored in our own modern racked cold storage rooms, each with separate temperature controls. After many years of building our business in the Dallas Farmers Market area we have moved our corporate office to a larger more efficient facility located east of Downtown. We moved into our Forney location in May 2005. The new location is comprised of 131, 000 square feet, 15 acres of land, 17 docks, and a 7, 000 square foot maintenance building. Our new location is two times larger than the three facilities we had downtown. The extra room will allow us to bring in a larger variety of products as well as improve our staging process. With such a wide assortment of temperature controlled cooler we are able to store all our products in the proper temperature and humidity, insuring better arrival to our customers. As you can see, our produce warehouse is a veritable "United Nations of Produce". Our customized service is not solely for the benefit of Wholesalers, we also support retailers with special price advertisements, store demos and have even sponsored classes for a major retailer's cooking school. Our product line is suitable for most niches in the produce distribution chain from retail customers to food processors to food service distributors. Our Product Nogales Produce is a full-line distributor of both conventionally grown and certified organically grown fruits and vegetables from many of your favorite shippers. Additionally, we distribute fresh eggs, cheese, juice. We also stock a full line of Mexican products, in both retail and food service packs. In addition to the huge number of in-stock items, we can supply many "specialty" items with a little notice. We have the resources to find that "rare" item you want. In 1990, the commitment of the company was the same as it is today, partnership with our customers. For over 20 years, the goal of this company has been to help our customers, and thereby grow the company. Thus our motto, "Working Together". Our business philosophy is based on mutual trust and respect between Nogales Produce and our customers. In 1989 Nogales Produce had about 3 employees. Today we have over 200 dedicated produce professionals, including warehouse-men, drivers, receivers, quality control personnel, buyers, administrators and sales representatives. Included in our sales buying staff are those with extensive retail and food service backgrounds. All are dedicated to one goal, to do the best we can for the customer.
