I have personally and professionally known Michael Mitchell for about 3 decades. He is a very hard working professional man, and has represented hundreds, if not thousands, of people in need - of all backgrounds. He was born in Germany, as he comes from a U.S. Military family - in which both his beloved mother and father served valiantly in World War II against the Nazis. They both were awarded medals for their bravery. His mother served in the Battle of the Bulge as a nurse, aiding the injured on the front line, and placing her own life in danger. He and his sister are proud and hard working Americans. It is sad that you, Tamika.hall.1 , of all people, would jump to such quick conclusions about another human, yet you expect other people to be open-minded about your plight! (Sorry about all of the commas as they are a weakness of mine) P.S. It sounds like Mr. Mitchell gave your case some proper thought and review before making any rash decisions, and gave you an honest evaluation of your situation.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Michael Mitchell or his firm Mitchell Goff & Mitchell to AFRICAN-AMERICANS, GAYS, TRANSGENDERS or ANYBODY WHO IS "DIFFERENT". I would also like to add that I am a transsexual (male to female) and this is my very first review ever. I did NOT choose this firm initially. I was referred to Mitchell & Goff by another law firm. When I first met with Attorney Michael R. Mitchell he was VERY UNFRIENDLY. He INTERROGATED ME and was being very DEFENSIVE towards me during our little CLIENT INTAKE but since I was referred there I THOUGHT he was at least a "GOOD ATTORNEY" so I ignored the RED FLAGS...MY MISTAKE. Mr. Mitchell HELD MY CASE FILE FOR 3 MONTHS for PERSONAL REASONS I believe. He seemed impossible to reach and when I did hear from him HE PLAYED MIND GAMES AND WORD GAMES with me about my case THE WHOLE TIME. How CHILDISH and UNPROFESSIONAL? I left him a NICE but FIRM email requesting an update and I guess it pissed him off so he INITIATED or SUGGESTED that I find other counsel. Is THIS how an attorney should respond to their clients who just want a simple update on their case? NO, you see its because HE ALREADY HAD HIS FUN WITH ME and my case already. What was it to him LOSING A CLIENT like ME? NOTHING. He's already rich. Stringing me along because I was DIFFERENT was PRICELESS and ENTERTAINING to him. I decided to do some BACKGROUND searching on him to see why he was being so MEAN, DEFENSIVE & DISMISSIVE towards me and to my surprise HE WAS BORN IN FRANKFURT, GERMANY!!! Hmmm, NOW THAT EXPLAINS A LOT. I've GOOGLED that MOST GERMANS ARE NAZI'S !!! I hope this IS NOT the case and that he isn't bringing THAT mentality to AMERICA and incorporating it to his business but I'm afraid HE'S ALREADY DOING THAT.
