Just had a wonderful late afternoon dining experience. We were greeted by a fabulous waiter, Joe, who was attentive and engaging. The delivery of our drinks and food was prompt. The food was really very good. I really can't say enough about our waiter. We felt as though he enhanced and personalized our experience..

Best Mexican food in Uptown. I've eaten at Manny's twice in the last month and the food & service are Great!

My family and I went to Manny's in Addison last night to celebrate Mothers Day. The restaurant was rather quiet- maybe 2 other couples were seated. We were directed to a horseshoe shaped booth, where we sat and ordered drinks. During dinner we noticed something wet was dripping on our heads and we realized it was condensation from the HVAC duct which can be an indicator of mold or some other problems. We moved to the next booth to us. After we got done with dinner, and were sitting and talking, we noticed a rather large cockroach crawling across the table and on to our plates. After we saw that, we asked to see the manager. There was a lady that claimed she was the manager, we told her about our disgusting experience, and she didn't seem the least bit of concern. As I look through previous posts on Urbanspoon, there are multiple reports of cockroaches appearing on the tables and the waiters/managers obviously have not taken the comments from patrons very seriously since they continue to have a cockroach problem. We will not be visiting Manny's anymore nor will we suggest it to anyone.

A must try for lunch outside under the trees. Best brisket tacos in town.

When I lived in Uptown, I loved going to Manny's. It's a very casual Tex Mex restaurant with so many different meals to choose from. Great for groups and great for a few people equally. The food was delicious and consistent each time. The portions a good sized, just enough to get you full (if you aren't already full from the chips and salsa!)

Meah, not sure if it's worth the price tag. Yuppy central

Great Tex Mex!

This is one of my new favorite Mexican food places. It is the best food for the price. I love everything I get there. And their alcohol is very inexpensive and good. It is a fun environment, good food, and great service. I would recommend it to anyone :)

I think because of its location it seems like the holy grail of tex-mex, but it's really not. this was more of a newer generation of tex-mex,not the authentic kind. decent, yes, but not exceptional. too crowded and cramped. go downtown to el fenix, at least its iconic owner and legend of tex-mex authenticity still greets you at the door, even after 50+years!

good food, not sure if it's worth the wait. Nice to bring out of town guests.......quaint restaurant.

Even when Manny's is packed with guests, you receive great service, food in a timely manner and fresh tasting. It's worth visiting over & over again and they have a great Happy Hour. The salsa is the best in Dallas.
