First of all this is not a towing service. This is a "middle of the night" car snatcher that works around the fine print and loopholes in the law to tow as many cars as possible per night. It is run by an old chain smoking fowl mouthed redneck of a woman that is rude beyond believe. If these people were to walk into a department store security would follow them everywhere they went. If my car were stall on the railroad tracks and Longhorn was the only service available to move it I would prefer to let me car get hit by a train.

If you need a tow call a real company like Pro-tow.

They are the worst!!!!!! They will steal your car while it is parked legal and say it was not!!! Charge an outrageous price to get it back and point fingers everywhere else!!! The police need to have the owners arrested and put in jail!!!!

My car got towed from my Girlfriends apartment for no reason... went to ask the office where my car was they looked at me like I was crazy. Finally figured out where my car was after 4 hours and being on hold and hung up on. All my info was in my car (DL, etc) my GF had to take off work to come pick me up so I could get my car back. Took pictures of damage the tower did while my car was still sitting there. Contacted them and they said come Wednesday after 10pm Patrick would be there and he is the owner ... it's been 3 weeks today now and nothing has been done. 1st week unexplained call in , 2nd family emergency now today he's out with his entire family with the flu ... seems like on excuse after another . The 1st week I was told to go get 3 quotes before I came back the next week. I did what they said and it's over $1,000 in damage. So now I'm freaking out even more ... I was informed tonight I could call tomorrow and talk to Jason the "supervisor" so we shall see how it goes and I will update . My experience so far... not good. Where you go to pick your car up the "gentleman" behind the glass is the rudest person I have ever met and I work corrections? That should tell you something.

They were towing illegally parked cars ... That's ok..
Blocked me in 5 minutes.. Fine.. Cursed me out because I didnt move my car fast enough so he could "steal" another car.. TOo FaR !!!
I encourage your property to use a better company!

In one month this company has towed my friends truck 3 times, 2 times in one week. The apartment mgr, does not like my friend at all and made that very clear to me a week after I moved In by threatening me with an eviction. A year an a half later, the apartments finally get their wish of eviction, as well as towing my car and towing my friends truck, longhorn towing is a horrible company, makes me wonder with it happening this many times since the apartment started the eviction on me that they are working together to get me out. I say this because this just started happening since I filed a suit against the apartments for property code violations

you below do NOT want Longhorn Wrecker coming to your Apts .. you have no idea

I live at Woodside Apts. I wish they would come here around 8:30 on Friday and Saturday night and all day on Sunday they could pull 10 more cars and truck out of here if you dont have a parking sticker you shouldnt park here keep the good work up

I am a disabled veteran with handicap plates on my vehicle and a valid visitor pass and Longhorn Wrecker Inc illegally towed my vehicle from a handicap spot.

In addition, they did not provide the necessary information required by law, illegal signs displayed, damaged my vehicle, they broke into my vehicle, siphoned gas from my vehicle, and provided the apartment management with a picture of an expired parking pass that was not the one on my vehicle; therefore committing fraud.



When I contacted them they hung up on me and each attempt to call them after they either would not answer, or told me they would not talk to me in order to resolve the unlawful tow.



They did not provide the name of the person that authorized the tow. They did not provide the driver's TDLR complete number. Provided false and misleading information on the paperwork provided.



I was not provided with any warning nor notification of the tow.



They only accept cash or debit unlike what it says above regarding credit cards.

Longhorn towed my car from a friends complex. The first time I went inside to use my friend's restroom and was only there for fifteen minutes. When I went to pick up my car the woman behind the glass was hateful and rude! I have done some reading and have found out their signs are illegal and not up to code. If you take them to court the parking facility will be ordered to pay you 1,000 plus 3 times the amount of your tow bill for allowing the tow company to place illegal signs on their property. You can also file a tow claim with the city which I plan to do. They need to realize they cannot continue this illegal activity.

Longhorn Wrecker is a bunch of crooks and in cahoots with the McCallum Glen apartments. I wonder what the McCallum Glen Apartments gets as a kickback? My daughter parked her car in front of her apartment with the emergency blinkers on to unload her groceries--yes she lives there. She came out for the second grocery bag and Longhorn Wrecker has her car hooked up. She asks him to stop. He ignores her and drives off with her car door opened and never closed it. That's right, towed her car and drove down the street with her car door open.



I believe one person gave this wrecker 5 stars---must have been the owner who wrote it.

My truck was towed illegal on Friday June 14th by this sorry excuse of a company. The driver at Longhorn towing openly admitted to me that they patrol apartments for quick cash, every night. He also informed us that it was a sweet deal considering the police are unable to help at all. If your vehicle is towed from an apartment complex it is called a civil issue and the only way to fight that is in court with a lawyer and money! That is absolutely absurd! We were first time visitors in Irving at our cousin s apartment at Parkside, we had a parking pass and my husband backed into the space. We were towed for backing in. BUT there were no signs visible stating no parking backwards. The tow truck driver walked around the complex with me as I showed him that there were no signs posted, He then begin to accuse me of vandalizing and ripping them down myself. I am 134 pounds and 5 foot tall...seriously? I did pay $263.00 to get my truck out immediate because I feared to leave it in this ghetto facility another second. I spoke to several people on the phone and let me tell you these people have no personal or verbal skills at all, Its like they are apes with there first job. Shelly & Jose were extremely rude and unprofessional, I asked Jose for his name over the phone so I could make sure to tell the owner of Longhorn how rude he was to me but he refused to give me his name. Once we were actually at the towing company I asked for a business card and Shelly told me that The owner doesn t use business cards. I asked Shelly If the owner would care about my complaint and she laughed and said NO! Monday Morning I followed up with Longhorn and tried 4 times to reach the owner( No one would give me his name) The 5th time I called a man answered the phone said Hello ( Again showing their lack of professional skills. I asked to speak to a owner or manager. The man said This is Patrick Owned this place 15 years guess I m doing something right I told him I beg to differ! He was the worst of all the employees. He knows he is a #$%$ and he gets away with it. I am not backing down and I will not stop. I could care less about the money, I work and I will be ok with my finances. However I refuse to be a victim to such a scandalous operation. I think the apartment complexes in Dallas/Irving need to know this is not acceptable. Who wants to live in an apartment where you can t even have guest visit because they are scared of being illegal towed. I have also contact the Dallas Sheriff s office because I think the fact that they turn there heads and let this happen is a shame, they need to be held accountable as well. I have done my research and this was an illegal tow. I have also read over 100 bad reviews stating the same experience as I had. The owner of Longhorn told me to keep looking because he had over 3,500 bad reviews and he seemed very proud of the fact! If you live in an apt, or visiting someone who lives in an apt, make sure they are parked in the right area, because, they will tow your vehicle quick, like your heart beat and be gone. I never had a car towed but by walking my dog have seen them tow several cars. One truck was moving someone had there hazard lights on, Longhorn took the truck, the people came out carrying furniture to load on the truck, and the truck was gone. They are very slick, sneaky and quick. Watch out for Longhorn towing. They've passed me driving down the street one night, flying like a bat out of hell, bout time I got to my apt, they were coming out with a car hooked up on back of there truck. Be aware of apt. Towing..

towed our vehicle illegally and we have written proof. have filed charges against them. i hope dallas closes them up for good!!!

Scamming, Fraudulent Tow Company

This company fraudulently towed two vehicles registered to me from tennat parking at Providence Apartment Homes today. I listed my vehicles on the apartment application, AND registered them with the complex, obtaining parking stickers. On one occassion, they tried to tow my Lincoln Navigator (placed an organge sticker on it that said to 'Tow, due to the vehicle being non-operational. I immediately drove the vehicle to the leasing office and confronted them about that> they said they made a mistake.) On 11/08/11 they put a note on everyone's door (dated 09/01/11)stating they would tow your car if it did not have a sticker. As stated above, I immediately went to leasing with proof of insurance & registration, and obtained the stickers and put them on the car dashes visible via winshield. Apparently there is a conspiracy, because they towed tow the car today. I called 911, then Longhorn and was told there is no sticker. This is a true scam, and it is possible the apartments may be receiving kickbacks from the tow company. I will be exercising all of my rights and contacting an attorney in this regard. This towing comp is the worse in Dallas. . They shouldnclose them down . My car got towed n they damaged my car and with out them looking or showing me the pictures them white man wants to say we didn't do that well show me the pictures you took and he wants to be rude ha guess what keep pissing me off and il be your boss soon . Well end of story I WANT YOU TO MAY ME WHAT IT TAKES TO FIX MY CAR ASAP . JUST HOW YOU WANT THE MONEY ON FULL WHEN WE GET OUR CARS NOW I WANT MY MONEY UP FRONT TO FIX IT . My vehicle was towed on August 25,2009 and although i was upset and cursing at the lady,she was very patient and polite with me. I was impressed that after all the berating and acting unpleasant she was very professional and at the end of me paying my vehicle her smile rubbed off on me. I have never been towed and i have heard alot of negative comments about towing services,yet this lady made me think differently hope other towing services have professional people working for them just like Longhorn wrecker has working for them.

THE ARE ALL TRASH. THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER ALMOST HIT ME TWICE AND BLAMED ME FOR WALKING IN THE ROAD. THEN IT TOOK US TWO HOURS TO GET OUR CAR.
