I wish yellow pages would allow me to give negative star ratings. This company definitely deserve infinite negative rating. They are very good while they try to get your business; promise pickup date, promise delivery date; they made everything sound so perfect, tailored to your wishes, while booking with them two weeks in advance. Then once you paid the deposit, decided to go with lightning, not other moving companies, you thought everything is settled, just wait for the pickup date. Then three days before pickup date, we called them, they said they would call back to let us know a specific time; NEVER did; we called again and again, they said they could not make the original pickup date (say a Wednesday), possibly Thursday to Saturday, or maybe Sunday, but they cannot confirm, they promised again to call back with more specific date. NEVER called back again. We had to call again and again every single day to ask when they could pickup the shipment; they kept on saying they would call back, BUT NEVER DID. This is a total nightmare. Lighting is just the worst company I have ever dealt with; they do not care whatever custom service meant at all. They even made you feel it is your fault to keep on asking them when they are going to pick up the shipment, while they promised to call, but never did. With the termination of lease, moving out of our home, taking up new jobs in another state, international travel plans, hotel all booked; Lightning, the worst ever moving company delayed our move again and again, particularly when it is too short notice to book with another company. This is the company you can use, if you really do not care when they pick up, when they deliver, how terrible the customer service is. I totally regret that I chose them because of being fooled by the representatives that only want to get your business, but never do the work!



btw, this is the 2nd review I ever wrote about service sector. Lightning's poor service certainly beyond what normal people can tolerate.

In all my years of moving I have NEVER had a move go smooth. I have moved many times and these guys are the first company to do it right from start to finish. From the first phone call I knew I was dealing with the right company, good price, energetic, friendly, they had it all! Rogelio was amazing, and so helpful. When the movers arrived I could tell that they had been doing it for years, I can not express how fast and careful the crew members handled my move. I have found my Lightning Moving for life!!!

These guys were great, they even offered to stay and help do anything else we needed them to do. I was very impressed with how they packed the truck and handled moved our things. Moving 3 bedrooms house and a storage unit in under 6 hours was very impressive. Tanks Lightning Moving

For starters..what is the address of this buisness anyhow?!!!!!



While disassembling my dining room table, Rogerlio damaged it, and since I have moved out of state, he refused to call me back--having a female relay messages a week and a half to two weeks after my initial call. Initially, their story was they weren't liable because they didn't put the bolts back into my table, they taped it to the table (he in fact put the bolts back in the table with his power drill and made the screws come up through the top of the table which has completely damaged my table); then he had the female call back and say maybe the moving company that unloaded my items damaged it (actually, the moving company DID reassemble my table, but only AFTER we discovered his mistake!); then he had the female call back and advise that he DID put the bolts/screws back in, but he didn't screw them in all the way. THEN, the female called back and advised that they would pay for the table, but only $0.60/lb, as stated in the contract, but they only want to pay for the top of the table, which would mean paying me $30 for a table that is ruined; I am not happy with this because no one sales this type of table at my new location, and I had just brought ($600) the table approximately 4-5 months before Rogerlio damaged it. It has been two weeks now, and no one has gotten back with me. They will not answer my calls when I call either line 214-272-3307 or 214-564-5231, nor will they return any of my calls; I have left numerous messages. Now, I am in the process of working with the better buisness bureau to correct this matter.

I don't feel it should have come to this..the company has insurance; they damaged my table, so they should simply replace it or take responsibility for the cost of repairing it. Just that simple.



Besides, this inicident, I still would not recommend this company. They moved my 2 bedroom apartment into storaage, and they took FOUR hours!!!!



DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
