Well-meaning case workers but, everyone else--not so much. If one doesn't mind being herded from one corral to another, it's okay as I think (or hope the chairs are clean). Unfortunately, I was a "patient" for several years and told providers, several times, that a medication needed tweeking; my needs went unmet. After I moved to another city and was able to go to a private doctor, who listened to me and reviewed blood work, my medication was adjusted--what a difference! I never saw a doctor who treated me as any other doctor did or had a sense of humor; they had their eyes focused on their computer screens and wanted to fill in the blanks. This is a lousy place, no matter who's paying for it.

I missed my appointment and I rescheduled...the next appointment was almost 2 months away. By that time I was sldepressed, suicidal, and having anger, violent, rage issues. My appointment was mid July. At that time I asked for some one on one counseling.I was told that I would receive a call from the person who is responsible for the job. In August I made my monthly appt. At that time i spoke with the now new supervisor Mr Bradley (his name started with a B) It is now almost September and still no appointment for one on one counseling.

Life net use to be a safe resourceful place to be. Now it nothing. People with mental disorders could make meetings and receive a free bus card to return for another meeting the next day or two. Now the meetings have been cut. Where am I supposed to go when I really am in need of help. LIFE NET since the merge with Metro...you suck! I've got to find myself a better ore stable, suitable place that is doing the job that they are paid to do.

So Far, Not Impressed

Went almost a month ago for my intake. They said allow 2 weeks for things to be processed, but that it really wouldn't take that long. Been four weeks this Wednesday. I am struggling, and I can't get anyone to call me back.
