Update: 6-years after my first review and I still come here for my fix of tacos, tortas and more.
The menu have been updated with many more times added: my current favorite is the AlHambre Machete (if you are really hungry).

The pambazo: a sizeable sandwich is filled with chorizo, sautéed potatoes, cheese, lettuce, and crema, then dipped in a mild guajillo salsa and griddled until crisp on the outside. Wow!
The huarache: a long thin masa, chewy, crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, with generous layering of cheese, crema, and avocado, with your choice of many of the classic meats, or for a dollar more get a 2-meat Huarache or Machette.
The Sopes: think of them as moderately sized Huaraches.
