I went to this hospital with chest pains and I had to wait in the waiting area for about an hour... Triage was great but once I got to the back the Dr and Nurses was very rude and acted like they didn't care... I left still with chest pains... I suffer from Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and CHF... Along with other health issues and I feel I was denied service because of the color of my skin... I find that the review below is very true...

Delivered my beautiful baby boy there last month. I had a fantastic experience and was even able to watch the hearing test be done! The young lady who administered the test was informative, caring, and gentle with my little man. My husband and I are looking forward to adding a new addition to the family within the next two years, and Doctors at White Rock will be our hospital of choice!

I don't know about the rest of the hospital, but I was treated very disrespectfully by the male physician in the ER.I had an infected tooth and was in excruciating pain. He asked if I smoked cigarettes and I said yes. He told me the next time I came in with a severe toothache, he wouldn't give me any pain medication because if I had money to smoke, I had money to get my teeth fixed. I thought he wa a doctor, not a judge. I was mistaken Apparently

This is the WORST hospital that can ever be open for business. I went there yesterday for my boyfriends knee injury and I seen the most horrific seen ever. The nurse asked my boyfriend was he smar enough to fill out his form. "Excuse me?" Who talks like that to patients. I also seen the parametics come in and dumb a patient that was screaming to the top of his lungs on the floor of the waiting room. Correct me if I am wrong, but if they come in the hospital in an ambulance aren't they supposed to take you to the next available room? Not take you to the waiting room and dump you like a dog. And dont let me start to tell you about the damn policeman who was in the waiting room. THIS WAS THE WORST. We got up and walked out after seeing several things within an hour and went to MEDICAL CITY* << (they are the best). Mark my words DOCTORS HOSPITAL WILL SHUT DOWN IN THE NEAR FUTURE!!!! DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY. ^^^THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE THAT 1 STAR!

Very poor

Absolutely the worst hospital I have ever been in. The dirt i in the room was disgusting. The care was total neglect. I would not take my dog there.

Dont ever go here. You think since its "by the lake" you would be emerged in a halfway decent facility right? I'm a 7 year resident of Texas and this place has the worst care Ive experienced anywhere in this state. They treat everyone like uninsured indentured servants off the street. The nurse practitioner was overly aggressive, rude and insensitive and was more interested in seeing if i had enough money or insurance before any tests or xrays were given. She should be doing medical in a prison! !She asked what is my profession what kinda insurance i have because this could be costly she says when i can just go to urgent care somewhere. I pulled my insurance out to show her my plan is current and my id to show im local because i was so miserable with severe flu symptoms. This hospital is also very dirty and nasty and im embarrased I had to go. The nurses and radiologist were nice and sweet however so I felt for them working in this jacked up environement much like they felt for me and my inability to breathe. Too bad i cant rate a doctor but next time Im driving to Baylor! If youre insured and have the time to make an appointment elsewhere, please do yourself a favor!

ER experience was inadequate

I went there due to chest pain. The nurse was rude and the Doctors didnt even try to really see what was wrong with me. The room I was in was nasty with blood on the floor. The bathroom was even nasty with blood and vomit in the sink. I guess money is tight at this place and they dont wont to hire someone to clean up. I was sent home with having a panic attack. I was not given any medicine to keep me from having another one. The doctor didnt listen to my chest or do any other test but just a ekg, and blood test. I was told by a mean nurse they do not give benzodiazepine out the ER. I didnt ask for benzodiazepine, but I do know they have non habit medicine until I see a doctor. I was not given a x-ray to check my chest and was sent home still feeling bad. I was able to go to Medical city hospital the same night and they knew what they were doing and diagnosed me with gastroesophageal reflux disease. The nurses were nice and treated me with respect at Medical city. I was able to get medicine for my symptoms for GERD and was'nt treated like a stray dog on the street. I was able to feel better in my chest and I guess I didnt need the panic attack medicine after all. I did have insurance as well and still I got the worst treatment from Doctors hospital. I will never ever go back to this hospital again.
