Hook,

Line, and Sinker is one of my favorites. Every visit, I have the Mexican shrimp cocktail with advocado. Actually that is enough but I always get more food. This time I got the fried oysters. That was a mistake . They were fried well but had no flavor and were unseasoned at all..

I just left HOOK LINE AND RIP OFF on Preston Road in Dallas. I went their a few weeks ago and ordered 1 piece of catfish with fries. It is not a whole piece of catfish like it was in the past, the serving size is very small with a few fries for almost $7.00,add a drink its about $10.50. But, here is the killer I just gave them the benefit of the doubt and went their again tonight. I order six wings with fries and a drink it was $10.24,so I went up to the counter to pick up my order and the manager or who ever he is ( hound dogs the orders ) says sir could you wait a few more minutes that order needs more wings, then he said you can take this order and I will bring you more wings. The menu says wings, but they are really drumettes and it only had about 4 drumettes with one broken into a quarter size. I waited for over twenty minutes for the rest of the food and it never showed up,so I finished up the scaled back amount that I paid for and made the manager aware I was not happy with the service and left. Next time you go there just examine the amount they serve for the money and do not get hung up on the cheap drink prices. I do not mine if you go up on your prices, but don t scale back on the servings and go up on your prices to !! Also if you do not get a customers order right you should offer something to keep that customers business!!!

down-right good food in a quai...

down-right good food in a quaint little building/house. I stopped by just because it looked like a great place to take friends and family. Although it's a little cramped inside, it was great. since moving to Texas I've fallen in love with Catfish. Lots of places to get it but few that I would go back to. This is the Third place I've found that I would drive out of my way for the fish. Be Aware - I took some elderly people here and they did not enjoy the tight crowds and the noise, although they thought the food was good as well.
