At first, I was super excited about this mattress - it was soft and felt like sleeping on a cloud. However, after just 2 months of use, it started sagging significantly. If I try to sleep on the right-hand side of the bed, it feels like I'm having to force myself up over a hill to get there, if I lay in the middle it's unlevel. The only spot that's level is the complete left-hand side edge of the bed & the level point is too small for someone even as little as I am to not feel unbalanced. I could understand these issues if it was a used mattress, but supposedly it was brand new.

When inquiring about the 10 year warranty, I was told to send photos showing the sag. How you can send photos of a pillow top mattress sagging is beyond my comprehension, but I tried taking photos of the sag and was told the photos did not show at least 2" of sagging, therefore there was nothing they would do about it. I asked for someone to come out and inspect the mattress in person, but no one has and it's now been months of me trying to get a refund or a replacement. It is clear to me that this company does not care about its customers.

I wish I had just saved up the extra $200 it would've cost me to buy a Serta - my last Serta lasted 10 years. Instead, in an effort to save money, I bought a crappy piece of junk based on their supposed 10 year warranty. Do yourself a favor - save up for a Serta and stay far far far FAR away from "Golden" Mattress company. They apparently do not understand that the golden rule is to treat others the way you want to be treated.

I have a Golden Gel-Tex... I've had it for a year and it's absolutely wonderful! The wife and I both have sweet dreams every night.

I contacted the store Texas Sleep & Sound and told them that my back couldn't take the dipping in the middle any longer. Purchased in 9/2006 within 2 years it was bowing in the middle, by 3rd year you couldn't even try to lay on the edge of the mattress without being pulled to the center in the deep hole. The edges of the mattress were also dipping. I asked the store about the warranty and even offered to purchase another mattress at their store if they would make good on the warranty. I haven't heard back from the store even though I told them I would be making a purchase this weekend and I could either spend my money there or elsewhere but I would still look to them to make good on the warranty. The mattress & foundation was a Soft Dreamer made by Golden Mattress Co in Texas. I will be contacting them directly and will report back but from the other reveiws I have read, sounds like I'll have a hard time reaching them for a claim.
