Sergio V , Was great and personal. First, in order to serve our needs, he gave up his lunch to be on site w/in 40 min vs 2 hours.
After I showed him on the Thermostat setting of 69 with inside temp reading of 75,
Sergio, immediately ascertain the issue w not cooling properly.
Investigating the attic status not causing the issue, immediately went to outside unit. Testing Voltages to the unit as well as on the unit and the Capacitors.
None present. Then check condition of Capacitors, which were shorted w no ohms. To eliminate the Compressor, Changed out the Voltage Cap first. (NOTE: Prior to this He removed the top panel of unit to disconnect the straps of Wiring from Compressor, which may have caused the CAP to fail. With the electrical wires strapped to the cooling lines may have caused false current readings, etc. to the Capacitors).
After replacing the V Caps, Out side unit was running. He continued to proceed w checking the Amp draw. With unit designed for 64 amp. Amp draw should not be more than 0.4 = 25.6 amp. It was drawing 28 amps. He recommended to install a Hard Start to unit to extend the life of the compressor. He did and rechecked the amp draw, which yielded only 6 amps after the Hard Start part. He then checked the A/C Freon, GOOD.
In my observation, I saw that Sergio was a professional in all aspects in knowledge, experience, manners and professional courtesy.
Therefore, It is my pleasure to give Sergio a 10 out of 10 rating for services on MAR 10th, 2018 at Honeybee Ln, Frisco.
My only regret, is it was unfortunate, the unit issue was not discovered with the recent evaluation status only a few months ago with potential failing part(s) by another technician.

Frymire Services came by to replace my hot water heater and Harvey did a great job! The repair was completed in less than a days time and Harvey had my garage looking cleaner than before he arrived. I strongly recommend this company and I am very happy with their service.

Review of Frymire Services - July 30, August 1, and August 16, 2013
I had Alan Sykes from Frymire come out on two separate occasions during the week. He first replaced a compressor motor. With no sales pressure, Alan reminded me how hold our A/C system was, and he gave me the option to replace the part or to contact a sales representative at Frymire to get a bid on a new system. I decided to go ahead with getting the part replaced while I got bids. Alan told me that I could get a credit for the purchase of a new system if I chose to simply replace the part. It was too hot to go without the A/C, so it made the decision that much easier to make!
I was pleased with Alan's initial work, as he was able to come back with the replacement part on the same day and get our house cool again quickly. Alan also made a follow-up visit to fix the drain pipe from the drip pan under the condenser coils in the attic. We had had several companies come and provide estimates on a new system. Somehow during the inspections, the drain pipe become disconnected (it was not sealed well) and we had water dripping onto a bathroom ceiling. Alan was able to perform a quick and good repair.
I wound up choosing Frymire for our new A/C system, as its price was extremely competitive, and I was credited for the previous repairs. Oscar B. and his crew came out promptly on Friday, August 16, 2013, and I was impressed at the speed at which they dismantled and removed the old equipment and got the new equipment installed.
When I inspected their work, I was pleased to see that everything looked good, and they had even created more space in our attic by relocating the furnace, air handler, condenser coils, and other equipment to be less obtrusive than where the previous equipment was installed.
The City of Carrollton inspector came out earlier this week, and he didn't spend much time with the system. He said that Frymire always did good work, which he said in an appreciative manner, because I'm sure it makes his job easier!
I am enjoying our new system, knowing that it is saving us money and working more efficiently to cool our home.

Monday evening our A/C was not generating cold air. Tuesday morning at approx. 630am I emailed Frymire and received a phone call at 7:30am to schedule service that Tuesday afternoon. Patrac the service professional called and let me know that he would be on site in 30 minutes. Patrac completed diagnostic and repair in less than 30 minutes. Great professional and pleasant service provided. Impressed with the prompt and reliable service provided. Will use Frymire for all HVAC needs going forward.

My home is 2.5 years old, and is now needing a 3rd compressor for a Frymire installed unit. They were obviously the cheapest bidder for KHOV, and did a poor job installing. Even though they installed the system 2 1/2 years ago, and repaired the same system 11 months ago, they wanted an "emergency fee" to come out and replace their compressor again. On top of that, they want to charge labor for the compressor repair. No system should fail twice in the first 3 years without crappy installation, or planned failure . STAY AWAY, your better off with someone who stands behind their work.
Sorry the customer experienced repeated problems with his system. And no, Frymire is never the cheapest, but frankly that statement reflects more on the customer's builder. The product and level of service we provided was defined the our contract with builder, which is unfortunate.
