EDDC is a nonprofit center that has been nationally and locally recognized for excellence in childcare. Small classes with low teacher/child ratios, experienced staff and a superior program based on helping each child develop as an individual are just the beginning.EDDC was founded in 1980 by Dr. Joanne Everts and Dr. Eric Albers. They began the center with infants and toddlers and later expanded by adding a preschool program. In the fall of 1982, the center was incorporated into a nonprofit organization. The center is now run by a Board of Directors which meets monthly and plans and directs activities for the center.
