Back in October I purchased a 2005 Goldwing at Dream Machines, in Early February I came into a little extra money and was able to pay the motorcycle off. When I called USAA to get a release of lien, I was informed that Dream Machines never sent them the information for the lien so there was none to release. I then called Dream Machines to find out about getting my title. They informed me that there was a problem with the title and they would have it fixed by the end of the week. Tomorrow is the end of the month and I still have no title. I have left several messages and the last time I called I was hung up on. So, I filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General, TXDOT and the BBB. I’ve finally talked to TXDOT and now I’m told to expect to wait up to EIGHT MONTHS TO GET MY TITLE. This is a second bike. I’ve now been laid off my job of 8 years and could sell the bike and live for several months but no I’ve had to deplete my savings because my 10K motorcycle (I’ve had a couple people interested) has no title and I should not expect one any time soon up to eight months wait I’m told.

Dream Machines Bait and Switch NIGHTMARE

Watch out for low interest rate offers only to be brought back a month later and told, "We put your loan through the wrong bank and your interest rate is tripling," This is particularly frustrating when Finance Manager, Ron Sparks, tells me they won't take the bike back becaus I have had it for a month and if I were to return it they would be keeping my down payment. Shadiest BS ever pulled on me during a major purchase. Add in the fact that the bike broke within the first 1 hour I was on it (worn drive belt) and it was $500 to repair. How is something like a drive belt is not noticed when performing the vehicle maintenance inspection they claim to be doing???? Who knows? Between the belt replacement and jacking my interest rate after the fact they cost me another $3000.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS

We were sorry to hear about this situation. Management was unaware and is currently working with the customer on a resolution.

Be Careful!! These guys are shrewd. Do not trust a word that is not written down. Bike I got was a complete mechanical mess. Not roadworthy or safe in any sense of the word. All these things were obvious, yet they sold it just the same. One day somebody will get killed. Big price to pay for people with no conscience. Put a clause in your contract that if the machine does not meet your expectations you can send it back at their expense. See if they want to sell any bikes with that??
