I first wish you well in your search to find a counselor you can connect to. I have participated in counseling off and on throughout my life and consider mental health as important as physical health. I am not the usual counselor one meets as I am a transgender woman and a healer not far from the two-pirit tradition of native healers. Being transgender has given me great insight as an individual. Given that I have lived and breathed gender issues all of my life. I hope you will find me to be very personal, caring and mindful. I am a general practitioner, but I spend most of my energy on gender identity, sexuality and family issues. I help people with their emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual lives. I have worked with over a thousand families and individuals from all walks of life. I love diversity. I practice mindfulness and meditation and help others in their journey to the present moment. I believe becoming more centered in the here and now gives us a higher consciousness that allows us to think more clearly and make better decisions for ourselves. We begin to truly live and love.
